I think people are losing a bit of patience with WGS, Celtic fans will accept a poor standard of football if they feel the club is going in the right direction, i.e. WGS first season, they thought 'right we are playing *, but he's building a team' but in terms of the end product on the park the team has not really improved in its style of play in the 3 years.

Its very slow pace and predictible.

I'll give a few examples here, the first blazing obvious one to me in Rangers, last season they had a pretty good season, and lost the league for the same reason we lost the league back when we had the run to seville, but Walter Smith took pelters from rangers fans because of the way the teamed played. So he came out this season and changed his formation, his style and I reckon rangers will play some nice football this season compared to last. Capello at Madrid, took some * from the fans because they were too defensive, Del Bosque at the same club got the sack after winning the CL for a similar reason, Chelsea got shot of Mourinho and Grant for playing poor football.

But since we beat Benfica 3-0 two seasons ago, what was the last exciting, entertaining game we have had? The style of play has been shocking, and although for the past 3 seasons I've backed WGS, I think his time is coming to an end, hes taken the club as far as it can go, and I think the team will start to go backwards.

What else frightens me, is the fact that the relationship between WGS and our scouts must be non-existant. We have signed a lot of players who ended up not making the grade, which makes me think, how much homework are we actually doing. I'll admit, I thought Graveson was a great signing, he was just not for us in the end, it happens, all managers can make mistakes (Saha just moved from Man U on a free, after he cost 12mil for example) One thing that will really wind me up is if Loovens is left on the bench behind Caldwell, Celitc cannot afford to pay £3.5mil for a squad player, if that is the case why not just bring in a free transfer or keep Pressley, or rely on O'Dea. Complete waste of money.

Going back to the football itself, I think we are greatly ill-informed when it comes to Celtic's finances, I don't think we have as much as we are letting on, the way the club is cracking down on fans using concession tickets and kids tickets when they have never really bothered in the past shows to me that they are trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of the fans, season ticket sales are down, I've never known a season where you could just go and buy a season ticket we still have some available I think. The CL tickets have increased also. Sections of the home support have just disappeared, and in talking to a lot of guys who go to the game its due to our style of play.

Take even the atmosphere, Celtic want to introduce a 'singing section' to increase the atmosphere at CP, it never had any problem in the past, and I put it down to the stlye of play. People sing and shout and get behind the team if they are entertained, just now they are sitting there waiting for a goal to come out of the blue.

For me, it's thanks very much Gordon, but time to move on and get Tony Mowbray in. West brom play some lovely football. We might even start to see Scott Brown as a player again.

looking at our squad i dont think we will get to the last 16
rangers can focus on the league and it will be very close
we scraped it last year.... so you would think we would try to improve the team so we weouln't scrape it this year too!

rangers fans knew they needed a midfield and they asked for it... 3 days later they had Edu, Davis and Mendes, no hassel

so if the huns on their budjet can buy 3 players without the lure of CL football.... How the * could we not sign a LB when we all know we have needed one for Months... and it could have saved us that loss!
