One player doesn't win a league title, the full team does.

 

I expect several teams to be chasing him then.

 

dont think anyone said lawrence wasnt good enough for us, because he is but the thread title asks who would you rather have lawrence or mcgeady, most say mcgeady but would still want lawrence also.

 

McGeady.

His creativeness and ability to assist players with goals makes up for his lack of goal-scoring ability.

Spot on. When everyone else is playing * and McGeady is putting 100% effort into all of his games, its unfair how everyone blames him for the losses. He can't win the games by himself.

I know there's a wicked number of McGeady haters on this board but I am sticking to my guns. Even Keano said that he should have won Player of the Year Award.

 

I don't think anybody on here HATES Aiden McGeady, or if they do then they are VERY FEW in number, I just think there are a lot of people who have grown increasingly frustrated with his poor shooting and poor final ball. We've been watching the boy have these drawbacks in his game for 2-3 seasons now and there seems to be no sign of these parts of his game improving. That is why some people get frustrated with him in my opinion, it's not a case of hating him.

 

Fair enough Mark, some of the comments can be a bit harsh, however. Really harsh.

But I mean we are football fans after all, and we tend to overdramatise everything....

Thats exactly what it is mate. There has been 0 progress in his striker technique or passing ability or ability to life his head.

Strangely his left foot is good i'd say its better than his right.
