If the board appointed a young upcoming manager who had the commitment of SAF and could be the next SAF, although he brought in players ranging from 17 - 22 and let most of the foreign players go and some others.

Then Rangers dominated Scotland winning the SPL for 3/4 years in the trot while these players grew and got expierence and then these youngsters became world class and dominated scotland for the next 10/12 years and also got Celtic far in the Champions League, in the running we beat the 52 title hold and turn ours into a 8 point lead of theres.

So if the manager appointed could guarantee that would you like it?

In theory that could be acceptable, but there is no certainty it would work, Rangers might just keep getting stronger through ECL qualification because getting in there as Champions of the SPL will mean easier qualification than finishing 2nd

Problem with SAF was that he had already proved himself at European level with Aberdeen. So although he was a youngish manager he wasn't quite the gamble that a Martinez or a Bilic would be.

to many crazy fans couldn't stand rangers winnig 3 or 4 on the bounce so he'd get sacked also i think scotland loses automatic entry to CL group stage after this season

No, handing them joy for the next 3-4 years is not on the agenda.

In theory it is in a great idea but there are so many aspects that could go wrong like , would we get THAT kind of manager? ,i mean saf is a one-off and to get a manager with half his experience and football knowledge we'd be doin well and would this proposed manager be able to put up with a second prize for 3/4 years just so that he MIGHT dominate for years later? i couldnt bear that and i am merely a fan!! so yes good idea in a way but its never going to happen cos we are winning the league next year:shamrock::icon_mrgreen:

thats totaly craszy in this day and age to allow the huns towin 3or4 ina row whilw we bring young boys through mainly because if they show any signs of greatness they would be snapped up by big money offers and we would be back to square one while the darkness would get stronger through cl money pie in the sky these days sorry:rolleyes:

Exactly, we should be out to win every year not planning to win in 3-4 years time
