  3. No, but neither are hearts, hibs or Aberdeen... Their points total (and ours, in honesty) is skewed by the other teams getting less from us. And this year especially, with all the assists they got from the refs, they lost almost nothing to other teams... It's hard to pull away if noone else helps you.

Rodgers record against them in derby matches, and recent results with Ange, leaves little to concern us that they're breathing down our necks. As I said... If we turn up, we beat them... It's that simple for me. And if we do bring in 3,4 or 5 quality additions, I'd fear them even less

  4. Changed my vote from undecided to yes

Want anyone to be successful as Celtic manager, regardless of the past. Will back him as long as he is committed.

  6. Might as well mate.

We could go out and get this Knutsack guy or IRAola and it could be a disaster.

At least we know Rodgers can bring instant success, even if we're gonna be waiting patiently on him leaving for the Chelsea job in a year or two...

Looks like we’re talking about a massive salary and big transfer budget.
This could surely have attracted a top manager other than Rodgers.

  7. It's brutal man...it really is :giggle1:

I don't know what to do with myself :90:

  8. I'm choosing now to sit on the side of the garden that has positivity painted on the astroturf.

Not forgetting that Rodgers' debut season was * incredible man, some of the fitba on show was wankworthy.

  9. Like who though ? I wanted Knutsen and Potter ahead of Rodgers but Potter ruled himself out and Knutsen is meant to be on a mental contract with Bodo hence why he gets linked to every job in Europe but never actually leaves. Rodgers has by far and away the best CV of those who were in the running

  10. Potter went from being mentioned as the next England manager to a guy who has ended up with two used tea bags underneath his eyes.

    * aged more in his year tenure at Chelsea than Obama did as President.

  11. I just don't like the guy one bit..

What else can we do but support him and the team but..

Interested to see what kinda players we target early on..

  12. Rodgers ruled himself out as well until he heard about the massive salary on offer.
Potter was my choice when Ange left and think he could have been persuaded just like BR has been.

That's a glow up and half

  14. He wanted to stay in EPL apparently

  15. Rodgers is a top manager, this is some appointment, never thought it would happen, he'll get a great reception from supporters, the past is the past.

He never had to come back but has chosen to do so, yes we can question his reasons, but nevertheless this is an exciting appointment.

He will have been assured considerable backing, all this off the back of winning another treble, good times !

  16. See looking back on it, I can understand why Rodgers * off. Obviously the timing of it is the biggest sticking point with folk.

We play in a * league against * opposition in a * country with * finances.
