If people haven't seen that shopping centre they must do a quick google search. It's actually the ugliest building you'll ever see.

Did the same myself Lecs. Cumbernauld town centre is one of the worst monstrosities ever built in Scotland. I challenge anyone to mention something worse in this country. Even with that a colleague of mine talked to a pair of Portuguese tourists with an interest in architecture who took the effort to go and see it!

Elephant and castle shopping centre down here is a sight for sore eye's..

Basically central London and all around it have been done up and then you see this monstrosity sitting slap bang in the middle of it..

The market below is like a shanty town. The bingo, bowling and arcade up top has mouse or rat traps all over and it's full of *'s knocking about it..

Few place's down here are hellholes

    Woolwich
    Tottenham
    Stonebridge
    Thornton Heath

Could list more as well but some real dumps in the suburbs of London..

TBF the whole new town piece is fecking horrible. Cumbernauld, Irvine, Livingston and East Kilbride all horrible drab places.

EK in particular does my * in full of Glasgow overspill people who think they stay somewhere posh. Horrible place hasn't a decent pub or restaurant in it. No wonder they all traveling on Glasgow for a decent night out. Shitehole.

    Beat that.

I had a quick look at the Elephant and Castle shopping centre which looks really daft due to what surrounds it but still looks like Beverly Hills in comparison to the Nauld.

It is mate. I think I've only been to the * holes of the town to be fair but every day just felt like a Sunday there. I have family who lived in places like Abronhill, Carbrain, Greenfaulds and Kildrum. Which are all * dives and I'm from probably the biggest dive in Paisley. Had a bit of banter with a guy in my work who vehemontly defended Cumbernauld saying I hadn't been to the nice parts haha.

Seaton in Aberdeen where I've been working the last 3 weeks is worse than anywhere I've been in Glesga.

Yeah you're right there. I've never liked East Kilbride either, I would put it up there with Cumbernauld as well. Just hunners of round abouts and concrete. My auntie stays in a * hole in EK and it's always a * chore going over if it's a birthday or family event.

I think if we had more sunshine and more colourful houses/flats then places would look better. The weather in Scotland is * terrible.

London. For four * years. Close thread. Not only they produce * at a higher ratio than anywhere else on the planet, they import the * from all over the world. Anyone who lives in London, for even a short while, starts becoming a *, as I know only too well!

It did give me my missus though, I'll give it that!

I've been up in EK working for the last 3 and a bit years, always found it quite decent. Lovely and green during the summers.

Cumbernauld - was up there for a funeral last week, first I'd been in it in ages. It is a * dive.

And Rutherglen too is a * grim and ugly place, same with the shithole that is Cambuslang.

I expected Rutherglen getting mentioned, unfortunately it's my local main street so I have affection for it.

Cumbernauld is *, another place I didn't like was Kirkwall up in Orkney, nice for 10 minutes then a boring * hole.

That's the original Baltimore, down the road from my homeplace. Baltimore in America is named after Lord Baltimore of Baltimore Manor, an estate that was in Longford, and not the pretty village in West Cork. Both come from the Anglicisation of the Irish 'Baile an Ti Mhor'; the town of the big house.
