The Artmeda Bratislava game when we got horsed 5 -0. Was Strachans first or second game and I thought "Oh *" what have we done. Was still really low after the * up against Motherwell and that was the last thing we needed.

Signing duds like Loovens for £2.5m when stars like Emilio cost 1/4 of that

Seeing the current team lose the passion and fight they had last season.

The worst bit about that day was towards the end of the game. Their team was passing the ball about freely to chants of "Ole!". If truth be told it was an absolute embarrassment to be a Tim walking out of Hampden to those chants. Was absolutely soul destroying in fact.

I'm sure we won the league that year?

Motherwell 05 was the worst for me, glad I was only 10 and didn't fully know what had happened. Being at the game would have been awful

Best memory was Killie when Naka scored to win it. What a day

Ach * it, the odd shocking result is like sleeping with a total roaster. Your devastated at how far you have fallen, but once you recover your form you can look back and laugh:50:

Losing the title in the last minute against Motherwell. Could have filled a bath with my tears that day.

Agreed. Flood didn't get much first team football that year, I doubt Fletcher would have done either. We had players good enough to win that title, we just couldn't quite get over the finishing line. We were 7 points clear at Christmas remember (a few of our fans would do well to remember that just now also!)

Losing the 1970 European cup final, losing the league on the last day at Motherwell and Henrik leaving.

5-1 at Ibrox in 1989. It could have been a cricket score. I've never seen us so outplayed by the huns as we were that day. The only good thing to come from it was a TV interview with Tommy Burns where he apologised to the fans and said "at least it never got to seven."

    The huns were fuming!!

the worst game for me was the game celtic against partick thistle getting beat 4-1 i believe cant remember but i never have checked out the real score since that defeat as it was my first year as having a season ticket. which my DA gave me, and said your going way Phil Cole's, bus on a saturday morn, there where 6 buses there and what one had i to go on , all double Decker's. strange as it was by the time i got in to the park we where 3 nil down. a sicken "er alright, dont mention it. but i believe we where 3-0 down the first 15 min played i dont want to know if i am right or wrong thanks. it still has an affect on me as yet

Losing 3-2 to those * in Seville was the worst I've ever felt (football related). Motherwell '05 comes in at a very close number 2, but the UEFA Final hurt more because we're almost guaranteed to win another league title(s) in our existence, but we may never win another European trophy and if we had won that night, it would have been beyond phenomenal. I could have died happily that night, had we won, comfortable in the sense that I witnessed Celtic lift a European trophy first hand.
