    start another thread then. * it, ill do it, let you two slug it out. its a disgrace some celtic fans think he Fergus was only in it for the money imo. buto a fellow tim, mon the hoops :50:

    anyway, Big Jock Stein - legend./ Never be another like him, hopefully in the future we can go back in time and clone him.

    As far as I'm concerned, Fergus earned every penny he walked out of Celtic Park with.

    I met him when he was wandering around Celtic Park campaigning, and he was a down to earth guy that just wanted the best for Celtic.

    He put his money where his mouth was, built the stadium, cleared the debt and delivered the title within 4 years of picking up an utter * mess.

    Statue? The freedom of Parkhead for that man.

    :50: spot on.he done what no one else did.he could have made a loss.the point is he saved us from oblivion.he deserves,a the least.respect from all us

    edit-and as someone who wasn't brought up supporting celtic i would never have experienced it if he never saved us

    Guys, beleieve me when you all see the statue of the big man, you wont be disappointed, I know the sculptor personally, and he is totally meticulous in his work, puts his heart and soul into it, so have no fears, you will all be spot on when you see his craft. * bless you Big Jock.
