Here me out!! I think with Izzy and mulgrew out we are taking one of our most consistant players out of the midfield and i think we look weaker for it. So what i am asking is, is it worth the gamble of putting wilson in there to allow ledley to play in his best position and help us boss the midfield?
Misun is away on loan aswell and im sure he is a LB as well as a CB.
Also, do we not have any decent left backs in the reserves or 18s? Im not the best with the younger players so hopefully someone else knows the left backs surely this would also be an option?

na i would have wilson at lb too mate tbh! i actually think he plays better there!
-
Misuns being turned into a CB back the club, he seems to be much more impressive in the CB position so imagine he'd be quite defensive. Could be good thing or a bad thing.
Hooiveld can play leftback but I've been led to belive hes not the best there. He's been outstanding everywhere hes played CB and * everywhere hes been at LB
The more I see of Ledley at LB the more I think it weakens the team both at LB and in CM. He's too good at CM not to play there and not really good enough to play at LB against a decent team.
Wilson could be my pick, hes always played well in that position and is a great player to have in the sqaud. I'd probably play him there and maybe take him of if we're winning to give one of the two young lads below a chance to bleed into the team.
Kurakins plays LB and seems like a good prospect. Don't really know if I'd throw him straight into the first team though.
Filip Twardzik is in the same boat at Kurakins, although hes usually used in midfield but is confortalbe all over the park. -
Yeah I agree Ledley needs to stay in the midfield and Wilson is a perfectly solid fullback on either side. I just hope that Izaguirre will be back for the hun game
-
id be happy enough if wilson played there, we need ledley in that midfield every week

If Izaguirre is injured for the 24th then I'd play Wilson. No way could I trust Mulgrew or Ledley against Rangers.
-
definitely wilson at LB, actually dont mind him tbh, injuries have never let him get a run of games and a chance to show that he can perform...and ledley is just wasted back there, needs to be playing midfield
-
Wilson had his best season for us at LB, so if all other options were not available, then so be it.

Ledley actually adds something to our midfield and would definetly be an advantage against Rangers -
no way! he better not be injured for the 24th our left side is ruish
-
Kieran Brennan is a good left back but wouldnt chuck him in for Tannadice and game against huns wilson is the way to go.
-
I'd try Wilson in the middle where he played in the last OF game. Got to be better than Loovens.
-
Wilson is the best option if the injuries continue, and with these problems at that position I thought it was wrong that on saturday we did not give Wilson of Twardyzk a run out late on when making our final changes.

really shocked lenny didnt pick him for hamilton-coulda kept ledley in the middle where he's of some use!
-
If you saw his run against Seattle pre-season youd know he's got pace to burn ran from his box then put it on a plate for Paddy :50: -
At least he could compete with Miller's pace where we just not Loovens can't. We'd perhaps miss a bit of height in the team though to be fair. I'm worried about this situation. -
I'm not exactly Loovens' best fan either mate...but he hasn't been too bad the last few games, we are starting to get a settled defence(mostly). This last thing we need to do now is chop and change things at the back:50: -
We haven't really been tested really though and we still looked pretty messy imo. Hamilton ripped us apart on Saturday. I wish we'd tried the likes of Rogne and Misun before now in games we were coasting late on.
