I don't want him at celtic, he is a great defender, but a known troublemaker.

If we can sign him on a fair wage he will be the best center half weve had in at least 10 years

I dont think Gallas will come here, I think he is posturing in the same way Campbell did but at the end of the day will be looking for wages that are too high. What was he on at Arsenal, 80K? and negotiations broke down at Panathinaikos over wage demands. I would rather we weren't used as a promotion tool and concentrated on young, hungry players.

The reason gallas left arsenal was because of wengers policy to offer all players over 30 a one year deal only. He was offered a 1 year deal and rejected it quite obviously. I think he is still a top centre half but would require a lot of negotiations as he would have to accept a heavy pay cut and hopefully neil will only sign him if he can see a hunger and desire in the player. In that case it could be a tremendous coup!

It'll never happen, Gallas is to pig headed to take a pay cut especially the amount he would need to take to join us, he'll head to Italy or back to France and I for one wont be disappointed he hasnt signed

To be honest mate I didn't think Keane would come but he did. It will be hard to negotiate a offer but not impossible

keane is "celtic" though thats may be why he came and still he was reported to be on 65k and although gallas is a total * with his attitude i noticed keane started to do it also when he weren't getting the ball etc.. he was becoming a total * i remember near the end of the season a ball was played into the and some one interecepted it after cutting in (might of been Mcgowan tbf can't remember the scorer well but remember keanes reaction well) and scored and in the replay you see keane's arms flapping away as he was * he didn't get the ball and didn't even bother celebrating in the goal which i thought was real dickie of him

Gallas was offered a new deal but wouldn't take a one year contract. Arsenal wouldn't budge as that's their policy for anyone over 32 I think.
