In that case, Scotrail employees would be getting ragdolled off trains up and down the country every single hour of every single day! :celt_2:

I actually can't remember the last time I was asked to show my ticket on the train, I always buy one anyway incase I have to show it at Central.

Also loved the "there's no need for that" comment from what sounded like my mother in law.

I'm the opposite - never ever buy a ticket, and if I'm asked for one on the train then I'll buy one there and then.

The "hard man" in that video wouldn't have even got out his seat if that boy was indeed a fully grown man who wasn't half the thug's size, bullying *.

Between the jobsworth of a conductor, the bullying thug, and the boy who isn't smart enough to realise that he's been rumbled then there's pretty much no one who comes out of this in a positive light.

The big guy and the wee ned are both dicks. The wee ned because he's a cheeky wee *, and the big man because, as mentioned above, he wouldn't have done anything about it if it was a guy the same size as him.

The fact of the matter is, if the young guy had just followed the social contract and bought the ticket in the first place, then the big man wouldn't have had any reason to be a * and bully him around. So the majority of the dickness is placed upon the ned

To be fair though, that wee * was holding up the entire train and whilst everyone else had paid for a ticket like decent human beings, he had tried to chance his arm and got caught. Why should everybody else have to conform to the rules, but not him?

The least he could have done after being found out, instead of attempting to lie and causing a stand off on public transport, would have been to get off the train and let everyone carry on in peace.

I'm with the big guy on this one. There was nothing the old, ticket inspector could have done about it. No one's fault but his own.

Ticket Inspector could have just let it pass and there wouldn't have been any incident.

The 'big man' is a fat *.

There's very little difference between the price of a single and a return between Glasgow & Edinburgh, 30p in some cases. The old yin was being a Jobsworth *.

True the price is petty in this case but its about the principal really, imagine if he said " right i'll let it go this time" then every other passanger has the right to ask for a refund.

Not buying a return ticket does not give the "big man" carte blanche to act like a bullying thug and manhandle a wee guy half the size of him off the train.

Here's hoping, it's the least the thug deserves. I'm sure he'll get his comeuppance one way or another.

It's got absolutely nowt to do with being a "decent human being", just because someone wants to try and chance their luck on a train doesn't mean that they are not decent human beings, extremely far from it.

He should have paid or got off the train when rumbled I agree.

The old incompetent jobsworth could have contacted the BTP if he was that fussed about it rather than encouraging others to do his job for him. And even then there is absolutely no excuse for the thug to do what he did. Like I said he wouldn't have even moved if the boy wasn't half his size. Nothing but a bully.

If the boy had owned up, said he had no money but needed to get home, he'd be allowed to stay on and a bill would be sent out to him. The fact that he's sitting there like a wee * giving grief to some poor lad doing his job makes him deserve everything he gets. I've worked in some * jobs and the one thing I can't stick is anybody swearing at someone doing their work.

As for the big guy being a bully - we have a teenager swearing at an older gentleman. Who's the bully there?

Changed my mind, the big man is a *, the ticket guy should have phoned trasport police if he deemed this an issue. If I was the wee man, id sue the big man. Personally id have probably dived between the platform and stationary train as he threw me off and sued his fat * lol

I'm not one for violence but this wee * deserved what he got. He could have explained to the conductor that he needed to get home and asked politely, but he did not he swore at the conductor several times and as the video shows there was also a group of kids just opposite them. You act like a *, you get treated like one.

On the note of the conductor, he handled this situation better than I reckon the majority of people would. If he had phoned the police to get the wee bam off and they had to wait half an hour for them to arrive, you'd have more people than just 'the big man' kicking off with him. So in terms of his 'injuries' he got off light.

Anyone who says he should sue him, I have no respect for. It's not a culture that should be encouraged. 'Something bad happened to me (even though I acted like a *) therefore I must receive compensation' This creates a society of people believing they're owed something and in turn, people believing it's okay to just jump on there's enough other people that have paid, it doesn't matter if I don't.
