Obviously I don't know what the guy has said and if it was overly offensive then that might change my opinion.

Wether it lasted 10 seconds or 10 minutes, he still got involved with a fan.

I agree 100%, but fans also have a responsibility to carry themselves in a certain manner.

I havent seen the incident but am assuming it was a grown * that confronted Lennon. Probably the same fan that would have been ecstatic at how well we played in the first half. And we did win the match.

What has clearly happened is some * is audibly booing a 2-1 victory when we played some lovely football and Lennon has basically intimated if that isn't good enough for him then leave.

Fair *, in fact he should do it more often if it gets rid of the half wit element of our support. Case in point being the absolute * that sat behind me when Killie beat us (possibly drew) at Parkhead last season and he started shouting that Forrest was a 'dirty orange *' and 'he knew his family, ye can't hide anything from me ya wee hun'.

These types of antics are as hunnish as you can get and should be left to the sister shaggers.

If he never got a kicking I'm more disappointed in the fans who never than him.

Grow up. Call yourself a supporter, christ sake. If you're not moaning at him for losing matches, you're moaning at him for having a slight confrontation with someone in the crowd, when you don't have the slightest clue what may or may not have been said by either party.

He got sneered at and he walked out. The atmosphere in the section I was sitting that night was poisonous, there were a number of questionable comments from people who were old enough to know better.

The guy shouting the abuse was not a * up ned either he must have been around 30ish.

Fans have a right to voice their opinion, unless the guy was overly offensive i can't see what Lenny's problem is to be honest. I see Hooper came out today too and said ''the anxiety from the fans made us anxious and it didn't help''. Basically saying that the crowd had an impact on the result.

Couldn't believe he said it, this team have to remember that without the support Celtic wouldn't be who they are today. Not criticizing Lenny or Hooper i'm just saying that players and coaches can be quick to criticize the fans but they don't like it when we have the odd moan and groan. :shamrock:

What I've been told by a friend that was sitting in the main stand that a * was shouting non stop abuse at the team for most of the second half and it got worse when they scored that goal.Obviously Lenny had heard every rant and gave the guy what for at the whistle. Then another guy started shouting at the nugget who was shouting the abuse saying he had sat in the same seat for 25 years and had never ever seen him at the game.
The nugget then started giving this other guy dogs abuse saying that he also had a season ticket for 20 odd years and had never seen HIM.
Apparently they had to be separated

Totally agree. Its fair to say that there is probably a * in every area of the stadium. There is one near where I sit who is a * nightmare and talks bollocks non stop.

Fans have every right to vent thier frustration during games. Its natural, but when its personal or bilious or vindictive then Lennon is right to give him a piece of his mind.

I think anyone who feels this is wrong or out of order needs to grow a set.

Just as well we didnt have this guy managing us.

I've just never understood the mentality of people who boo the team during the match(especially a match like last night where we were winning!) or dish out abuse to the players while they are still playing. How exactly is that going to help? All it does is sap the confidence of the team/players.

Everyone on here knows what I think of Georgios Samaras as a footballer but I have never booed or heckled the guy when I've been at a game and he's been on the pitch. As long as he's on the pitch I try to support him in the hope that it might inspire him to do something good for a change.

We are supposed to be Celtic 'supporters'. Clowns like that one Neil Lennon had a go at last night should sit down and think about what the word supporter actually means.
