I can understand why Lennon reacted.

He should understand why folk were starting to panic as well though. We should have been out of sight, and as soon as their goal went in the potential for another * up was there. It's only natural.

Rather that than the wee fat * across the road's way of dealing with fans booing - stands like a *' sack o' spuds wi' his ears burnin'. Swally should get more animated and lose some of that fat he's waddling around in. :84:

Even though tensions were high at the end of what should have been a convincing result, going by our efforts in the first hour, there is absolutely no excuse for having a go at a punter and sadly Lenny has crossed the line.he should make an apology through the club website.

I for one am hapy to see that our manager is so passionate about our club that he is willing to defend himself and his players against anyone. The support did get anxious last night and this possibly filters down on to the park. Overall we played extremely well and could have scored 7 or 8, yet some sections of the support become abusive towards the manager and players. Before last nights game I would have settled for 1-0 from a last minute og if it meant 3 points, because that is what we need right now, 3 points from every game.

I woulda done the same. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.; Be it a fan or a manager. Keep the passion burning lenny!

You leave the trackside with your head held high and you address any fans concerns through the press conference.

Arguing with fans just shows a distinct lack of class and professionalism!

Yes, fans are entitled to their opinion but to vent abuse when we've just won, and closed the gap, and are clearly moving in the right direction, is out of order!

The 'fan' in question is, IMO, a complete fud!

As I've said, everyone is entitled to their opinion but there's a time & a place!

I've seriously had enough of all the negativity and have had for some time now!

Things are a lot better today than they were a couple of weeks ago!!!

Bearing in mind the horrific injury list we've had this year, some people need to be realistic about things!

We still currently have 9 out injured; K Wilson, M Wilson, Rogne, Loovens, Mulgrew, Izzy, Cha, Brown and Bangura!!! And these are all players who can contribute to the first team, most could consider themselves are starters and some are massive players for us!!!

IMO we're doing ok, all things considered - and with certain players returning to the team/squad and with the addition of one or two others in the January window we're only going to get better and better!!!

    Hail Hail

Just saw it on SSN and thought it would be much worse than what it was by the way people were describing it last night. He only pointed to someone and shouted a couple of things while going up the tunnel - not a big deal at all.

you would expect that on a sunday afternnon on some red ash park cmon thats the way it goes peoples emotions and lenny should just take the good with the bad, thats why hes on mega bucks hes got to learn to calm down and try and do things calmly and not let things like this get to him,it goes with the territory

Some of the fans were bang out of order last night. Could clearly see it effected the team as they started panicking. People need to realise this doesn't help matters. Well said Lenny!

My mate sits in the main stand as says that atmosphere's * and most people just sit and moan. He's quite right to defend his team because if it was someone sitting near you, you'd tell them where to go. Don't need that type at CP.
