Why Hinkel

Hinkel was dropped vs Motherwell for an abysmal performance against Ross County, he knows how good he is and Lenny will get it out of him.

 

I thought he made a real difference.

Don't want to oversimplify - but we were 2-1 down, then Hinkel and Razz came on, and we won 3-2

 

some times you need dropped for that kick up the *

 

I agree . Hinkels not good enough. Id rather see Caddis getting a run

 

how the mind boggles reading that , remember when hinkel was injured and caddis got his run of games HE WAS * in every single one , honestly you musnt watch celtic much if you cant remember that

 

i remember, i dont think caddis is good enough. for what we paid for hinkle (2mill) i think we got a good deal hes obviously gonna have flaws, if he was perfect he wouldnt be with us

but caddis is another one who doesnt play much and when he does arent really up to it match fit wise cause of this stupit reserve league got patched for reasons unknown

hope they bring it back in ther ''revamp'' of scottish football

like naylor loved him 1st season fell away last 2 but hope lenny can get the best out of him as hes looked no bad since lennys gave him a run

You can only pick a handful of RB's who are better than him in Britain, in my opinion.

 

In all honesty, the highest rated full backs in the world are more comfortable going forward than defending. I think that's a sign of the modern game and how it's changed.

 

Hinkel is about as good as you will get to come to the SPL. An OK defender and an excellent attacker. Anyone who thinks Caddis is better must have missed him completely blow his chances on his run there earlier this season. Caddis is an appalling defender and a circus midget to boot. Wilson was once an excellent RB, LB and even could play CM. He had really serious pace at one time too. WGS says he thought he had the technical ability to play in the EPL and he was really excellent for us at first. However he has been ruined by injuries, has lost much of his pace and lost years of development.

very true , ashley cole , ramos , maicon , and evra well tbh evras good at everything:bbpd:

 

but theyre all better at going forward , hinkels decent at defending not perfect but hes excellent at goin forward and making runs .

look at dani alves at barca great goin forward but as far as defending goes he's nowhere near other top full backs but you'd still say hes top class

 

Maicon is a very good example. He's fantastic going forward and not too hot in defence, yet he's very highly rated. I think some, not all, of the best modern day full backs are more comfortable going forward.
