    I caught the bug when I was 7-8 I ran about with a boy my age(obv) whose family were all big Celtic Fans, but my family apart from my mum and dad are all big R`ngers fans.

    They think I do it to wind them up but to be honest something stuck and I couldnt get rid of it and now 10-15 years later I still support them.

    i remember being 4 and me and my 4 brothers all had hun tops then not long after that my older bro seen sense and started supporting the celtic,needless to say we all followed suit after that thank Ghod,30 years later now and i know was best move ever made,couldnt imagine supporting that mob.hail hail

    My whole family is Celtic, but I started watching the bhoys because I liked the players in general, but it was good old Henky that made me a proud Celt.

    My Dad used to take me to see the hoops when I was a wee guy. The feeling of standing in among all my fellow Celts was amazing. I miss the old Celtic Park sometimes.

    Henrik Larsson & Johan Mjällby is the big reasons that i started to follow Celtic in the late 90's. And i guess its a tradition for swedes to support Celtic because of our national heroes love for the club. And the respect Celtic & its fans have for international fans is amazing. I could not support another club thats it, my family also support the bhoys.

    And to those Rangers fans claiming that international Celtic fans is a bunch of glory hunters is just pathetic, if i was a glory hunter i would support barca or Man united or something like that.

    Just love the club and what it stands for.

    Im also writing about scottish football & interviewing players for swedens largest sports newsite, you wont understand to much because its on swedish but i would be happy if you did put out a comment anyway!

    oh, where to start?

    I am dashingly handsome, I am intelligent, I respect other people and their opinions, I respect all political and religious viewpoints and believe each individual and collective have a right to their beliefs, I admire the clean fresh beauty of the green and white, I believe that we should let the people sing, I come from a colourful Celtic culture of Irish and Scottish, I admire style and panache, I love the roar of a goal, I cry with emotion as we sing YNWA, I know right from wrong, I deplore triumphalism, The difference between "us and them" is that we enjoy winning, they like to beat people (a big diiference), We are inclusive of all, I enjoy being the underdog, I have seen guys like Henrk wear the hoops and cry with us in happiness and in defeat, I share a common goal with many thousands like me, I shared some of my best moments with my father in Paradise.

    Why am I a Celtic fan? That is why I am a Celtic fan.

    With me being irish, my dad and most of his mates are Celtic fans so he used to take me to the pub to watch the games but it all came together for me when i went to my first game, from that moment onwards i could never turn back:celt_2:

    Celtic daft dad because of the irish connection/identity. Loved the club and the fans from as far as i can remember. Love celtic, ireland, scotland, wales, the celtic race. Again its as much about identity for me, this is as important as the football.

    Being a student of Irish history basically put me on a collision course with Celtic. Once I started following and heard all the songs I love coming from the stands, I knew I was home!
