I was raised a Celtic fan but it was only about 3 years ago that I started travelling to games regularly and following Celtic closely. I couldn't imagine my life without Celtic now, however sad this may sound - Celtic is one of the most important things in my life at the moment.

I hold Celtic up there with the best things in my life. Seeing them play beats anything during the week.

Really mixed family both parents tims but also got a member of my family who was a grand master of the orange order and yet went on to marry a Catholic (fkd up eh) but mostly all tims few currant buns and a Man United supporter.

To be honest i had no choice and i'm glad i didn't, my first game 5 year old was the jungles last stand and growing up big Paulo was my idol on the back of my first ever strip bumblebees.

I was born in the north of ireland, I'm from a mixed marriage. Fathers family are protestants, mums family are irish catholics. Moved to the west of scotland when I was six years old. Grew up at the time of Rangers strangle hold over scottish football and celtic were struggling. Went to a school in glasgow where most of the kid supported the huns. The first old firm game I watched was 1989, fell in love with the hoops from that point onwards. Hail Hail

I was a Celtic supporter long before I was even thought of:icon_mrgreen:

The sun shines on the righteous as they say....and the sun shines on us righteous Celtic supporters, and not those heathens across the river.

I'm from the States originally. I moved here about 12 years ago. My first friend here was a Celtic fan, that got me started. I was lucky too because my second friend turned out to be of the dark side!

My Grandad played for the bhoys in the early 60s, he is friends with quite a few of the Lisbon Lions and was a good pal of Jinky, so I basically had no choice in the matter but to be honest that doesn't bother me

My whole family is Celtic daft and I was born into it. Mu uncle who takes me to the games was a youth player when he was younger and makes sure I'm supporting the hoops all the way. But since it's in my blood there's no need to help men do tht.

    Hail Hail

You dont get a choice if your parents are, I was literally brought up on Celtic. My old man is an extreme tim with the greenest of tinted glasses, he would never let me wear red, white and blue as a kid, he wouldnt get in a blue car or taxi or drink Iron Bru because its orange but I wouldnt have it any other as it made me the passionate Bhoy I am today and all this while being born and raised in England was pretty bizzare as there were no other kids in my area to share this passion with.

    Hail Hail.

My story is the same!:bbpd: I learned about Irish and Scottish history, so CELTIC was logical choice. Like Hemingway loved Spain, that is how much I love Ireland. I believe that Celtic culture is the most interesting. And Scottish scientists and Irish writers, clever people. I like Irish literature, culture, mentality...
