Seen in the paper today that Rodgers is hoping to make a signing after qualifying for the cl ( touch wood) and he is looking for a number 10. So who is a realistic target for us.

I would be surprised by him wanting a number 10, Rogic is perfect for that role. I expected more of a box to box midfielder type, someone with a bit of pace.

I'm happy with Rogic, Commons and Christie for that position.

Possibly even Roberts could play there, Brendan did say he reminds him a bit of David Silva in his style of play. I think Roberts in that position could work well cause he can spot a pass and is a goal threat.

Even Moussa can play there too by all accounts.

I'd like to think a ST will be getting targeted.

 

We need a * holding midfielder. A Drinkwater type.

We really dont need one imo. Rogic is the * man and i would hate to see his progress halted by a new arrival as i genuinely think he can become something special for us this season.

 

James McCarthy- can he play there? Loanee from Everton is the rumour?

 

He's more defensive. Would love to see him in the midfield with brown box to box and rogic as the playmaker
