Tommy Johnson. Scored the winner v St Mirren to win the league O'Neills first season. Also had a sense of humour and had that cigar celebration that Lenny used at Ibrox.

I remember his debut. Never seen anyone so desperate to score. Think he hit the post and the bar but unfortunately he wasn't the same player he once was.

    did the same with keane.

I lost a fair bit when i did eventually get him to score the first goal, i cut my losses and stopped putting him on, and he then went on to score something like 6 or 7 in the last 10 games:31:

Koki Mizuno is another strange one. Has a man of the match performance at Falkirk, quiet at Ibrox then is out until I see him scoring a diving header last pre season.

    Jorge Cadete... :50:

I think Celtic should have tried to keep him more. What could have been.

Dam it! you got in Burchill before me lol :icon_mrgreen: He should of been the player kenny feckin miller should of been * :56:His movement was good, had good pace and acceleration, his finishing was natural and he had a high workrate and got himself involved in the game. Was compared to Michael Owen and you could see why. Think he is slobbing it out at kilmarnock now and isnt even half the player he was. Sad days :54: Obviously the cursed name of liam miller would ring a few bells here i think lol came into his own, found his consistency and was playing great in the champs league and the spl...then he was at man utd :54:

Burchill like TJ was never going to be a regular as they had guys like Henke, Viduka, Sutton and Hartson in front of them. Burchill had his run when Larsson broke his leg. They would probably get a game for us now though.

Sno or Donati, Although Donati proved towards the end that he had what it took and that maybe WGS was wrong about him

You've got a great memory man! I thought Burchill left before the likes of O'Neil and Sutto came in. He still could of been a player for us and im dissapointed how it turned out. Pace to burn, a good finish, work rate and goal ratio and most Celtic fans at the time felt he could of made it. Where did it go wrong? I suppose Henrik didn't help his cause lol

Burchill was on the bench for the 6-2 game I'm sure. Remember he was still here to score the fastest European hat trick. He then moved to Porstmouth where he scored lots for them as he had Robert Prosinecki setting chances up for him all the time.

what about gerry crainey, scored loads in the reserves just did'nt make the next step up. alot of good players in the reserves around that time + very few of them got a chance.

Simon Donnelly for me, but that is only because I sort of knew the guy and always wanted him to do well.

More recently Robson, as many have already said why the * did we let him go :31:

Pretty much everyone maentioned so no need to really repeat them. But I really thought Stephen Crainey oculd have been our LB for years, probably to now. Had a cracking FK on him. Burchill was a huge disappointment for me, his attitude was all wrong, thought he was a superstar too early. Craig Beattie as well, he had amazing pace but couldn't put the brakes on. Scored an absolute cracker against Dundee Utd at CP. Brattback anaw, good finishe but could fo * all with the ball at his feet. Mind when riseth signed and set up Brattback. All he needed was to point in the right direction.
