For me it has to be Neil Lennon,I think he should have already been appointed as Mowbrays assistant.Don't know what Peter Grant is doing there, he failed as a manager at Norwich or somewhere.

Celtic have gone thru too many changes too fast, we need a little continuity.Look at Rangers they already have their next manager in place, who has no experience but is learning every day from Smith.

The fact is we can't get anybody with a proven track record, look at the trouble we had getting Mowbray.

Lennon has worked with MON a lot, he may even consult him a bit if he is appointed because I'm sure Martin still loves Celtic.

    Heres hoping Mowbray is going!!!

    Who's Next in The Hotseat

Assuming Mowbray leaves who can realistically expect to be our next manager...

Personally i'd like to see Alan Curbishley on a short term deal till the end of the season and if all is going well offer him something more permanent in the summer...

Mark Hughes or Avram Grant for me! :50:

Forget your Lennon's and McStay's. This is not a job for apprentices. If we need a caretaker, get Davie Hay on the phone.

That'll be the first thing to look for on a CV - banter references.

Craig Levein over a Champions League finalist :56:

Martin O Neil. Bring him home. Things are starting to turn sour at Villa. Im expecting replys to this with replys of 'oh he wont come back'. Truth is, we dont know. Why not put him #1 on the list? Id get an old hand like George Graham or Davie Hay to tide things over till the season is out then hopefully get someone like O Neil or Bilic in. We need a manager who like big physical strong players to bully teams like we used to under o neil, not these wee push overs we have in our team

Not that a want him in the job, but the guy took over when they were bottom and they have a point deduction to contend with aswell.

Wouldd love somebody like Hitzfeld or Trapp, but finances getting them here and to do the job they want might be a problem.

If Hughes feels he has something to prove then yes, but if he had one dencet season he would leave in a heartbeat for a job down south again

heres hopin O'neil is getting sick of it at Villa and misses being St. Martin

No chance of any of these guys, you would need to offer CL fitba and money and we won't.

    more likely to be
    John Hughes
    John Collins
    Willie McStay
Or the rocket that was at Hertz

LOL, its hardly Grants fault that Pompey are bottom of the EPL now is it???

Has done a good job since he took over there and may be the man to rebuild us.

Time to finish the huns off once and for all!!!

To get back up there in europe again and hammer the nails in to the currant buns coffin, it has got to be Davie Moyes with a decent budget.
