Who should play: Samaras or Stokes?

I think both should play, the last few weeks hooper has been the weak link out of the 3 of them, bring hooper off the bench and start sammy and stokes

 

At the moment I would play both of them. Samaras on the left wing and Stokes up front.

But if you're asking me who I would choose to play up front - Samaras or Stokes? Then the answer is, without doubt, Anthony Stokes.

 

Balancing act really, but if i had to choose....stokes

 

really hard one, stokes and hoopers partnership is second to none , but then a feel you cant drop sammy on current form but then who would you drop from midfield , with brown,wanyama,ledley and forrest doing brilliantly .. but i prefer sammy on the wing but then i would hate playing a 4-5-1 unless we played a 4-3-3 with forrest and sammy each wing with hoops through the middle? so on current form,and as much as i love stokesy,id go with sammy.

 

Partnership upfront? Stokes AND Hooper! left Wing or Left attacking striker? SAMARAS

If your talking about the striker position in a 442 then stokes everytime, i would only use sammy on the wings.

 

stokesy for me i think it depends on the opposition or if we are home or away i can understand why lenny went with sammy on wednesday it was a trcky fixture its a tight pitch big sammy can turn on a sixpence but stokesy is a better partner for hooper and his movement is amazing we are blessed with talent all over the park C.T.I.D

 

horses for courses sammy has a better all round game and height but stokes scores more goals so both have a part to play

 

Can one of our statisticians tell us how many times Stokes and Samaras have both started in the same team?

Only reason I asked one or the other is that lately NL has not went with both of them. The last time both started and finished the game together was against Dunfermline on January 2nd.

Neil does enjoy rotation, and it's currently working for us, so it's win-win. No concerns, as of yet, but I would like to see Stokes get 90 minutes for a change.

That would be my current starting lineup. Slot in Forrest for Sammy, Ledley, Broony or Stokes if things need changing up. Brozek is going to have a hard time breaking into the squad, methinks.

 

Sammy over Forrest? Unlikely.

stokes anyday over samaras up front for me!!

 

He is getting used in his best posisition, he,s * in front of goal and cant play up front thats why he has been good because he,s playing in left mid and offers us an areial threat

 

The 2 of them are as frustrating as * at times as well imo


Think stokes needs to learn the offside rule

If lennon signs another striker any time soon then am afraid its to partner hooper
