Yes, and i never said you wanted rid of them now, you said they will be getting past it by the time they're contracts are up, which is wrong as far as I'm concerned.

Naka is only 30, Giggs is about 5 years older and still doing well enough to keep his place in the united team.

 

to be fair ryan giggs is ryan giggs, the guys practically a one off in the history of football. he not get his debut at 16 or something? been a stick on since

 

Aye he's a legend, but Shunsuke Nakamura is Shunsuke Nakamura.

just as good as Giggs IMO, if giggs played for west ham or something, most people would agree.

 

Dont think you can compare them, maybe he is as good as giggs is now but giggs at his peak is one of the greats of the game. The impact he's had at united is phenomenal.

I'd say George Best is, and yeah giggs probably was better than Naka at his peak, but we never saw Nakamura when he was like 23/24, he would probably have been even better than he is now.

exact same thing with Lubo.

 

George Best had a very short peak of play some the clubs he ended up at were terrible and he just lost it completly because of all the off field troubles. I mean he was at Hibs for a while.

I reckon Giggs has made a greater contribution over the years to warrant that tag. Although that's just my opinion as I agree Best was the better player.

 

IMO Naka is a really good player but Giggs was a lot better, an all time great, having pace and ability to beat a man on the outside as well as loads of skill. I agree about Best though. I love the way he seems to have just used his balance to beat players without doing loads of party tricks.

On Giggs... I think he's better than Naka with both in their primes. I'm not sure Naka can last that long. Certainly hope so though.
