No we should not try him on the wing or anywhere.

I'm really shocked at how * he's been. I've tried to see positives in him and always been very supportive of him but he's just not given anything. A couple decent dribbles and tricks, and one shot of the post, that's it.

He was recommended by Larsson, obviously one or more of our brilliant scouts, presumably Lenny or one of the coaches as well, and was good at his previous club - so why oh why has he been so *?

I just can't work it out and that's the most frustrating thing. Really hope he comes good but i'll be honest I can't see it.

I think folk are underestimating him here. I'm holding fire on him till he gets his first goal.

Still remember Forlan's goal drought at Man U - 27 games till he scored his first - and loads of folk saying he was a dud. But we all know different now.

Can make a big difference to a striker - so let's wait & see.

IMO he is one of those strikers that just needs one goal to kickstart a run of form. Getting the goal is the problem.

I've never understood that argument. There is no link between getting your first goal and then suddenly becoming a goal scoring machine. It wouldn't explain why he looks so awful in all other areas of his game, that don't include goal scoring i.e trapping a ball or not playing like he has wild piranhas in his boots.

Once a striker gets their goal they gain a lot of confidence and the game becomes an awful lot easier.

You can bookmark this. If and it's a big if Bangura ever scores his 1st goal for Celtic then I guarantee that he won't score more than another 1 for the remainder of whichever season he happens to break his scoring duck.

You better head down to Lennoxtown, I'm sure Mo will achieve a hat-trick against an open net with no goalie after all the other players have gone home but then again. :50:

If you think Samaras is a * player, even now, then I'm lost for words.

He is so * inconsistent, he frustrates the life out of me. Today classic example, that cant be fkt body language that he gives off and mjalby and lennon telling him constantly that he cant stand miles away from the rest of the other players when corners and free kicks are going in. The euro's were another example of his inconsistency, he got a goal, but felt he didnt deliver overall

Samaras had most assists last season. Anyway I hope Bangura comes good but I'm 99% confident he won't.
