    Ahh fit and available players.

I think you'll find Samaras has played the majority of his Celtic games upfront :smiley-laughing002:

    Still a winger though!

Hooper and Watt will do just fine until Friday (when I expect us to sign another striker). Even if we do sign a new striker, Bangura leaving is great for Tony. Without oldco in the SPL this could be a real breakout season for the lad.

No more bringing on Bangura for a token final 15 when we're already 4-0 up!

I can't believe it took him about 8 or 9 years into his career to realise he was a winger. In fact, I think he still thinks he's a striker. It's Lenny who copped on. :56:

Just need to bump Murphy now and it'll be time for at least one new face up front!!!

I think its stupidity to loan him to Sweden, their season finishes in 2 months, there is only 10 League games left so whats he going to do in November and December again :39:

Surely we'd have wanted him playing games right up until he comes back, now he'll come back having not kicked a ball in about 11 weeks :97:

ILTC, this is something I don't get either - however, Lennon sent loaned "for a year" if BBC are to be believed? Seems rather strange all round. But yeah - if only until the end of their season, surely he returns then as opposed to dicking about for 2.5 months!

A couple of months in the AIK team gets him game time, he needs it. Maybe he'll come back a better player.

He played up top most of the time for Greece until recently I think mate. maybe I'm wrong. The point is he's as much of a striker as Mo Bangura is a footballer. :smiley-laughing002:

Agreed. It is the right move as he needs game time if he is to have any chance of making the grade at Celtic when he comes back.

Given the lack of depth up front and Stokes being out injured for 2 months you have to think we must be pretty confident about signing a new striker later this month.

On the left of a front three was his position for Greece and Heereven. Was far more deep lying fir Greece though.

Only Man City and Celtic tried to get him into a 442

Anyone that uses any injury or "My Mo just needs confidence, he's a sensitive wee Sierra Leonian soul" needs to get a grip...Mohamed Bangura, without a shadow of a doubt, is the worst striker to have played for Celtic Football Club in the 21st century by a considerable distance. PLEASE * LET HIM BE DECENT AT AIK. :50:
