    His standards a couple of years ago were terrible. Now he would be worse. He has made his name off the back of two goals. If he only wanted a couple of quid a week then he might be useful in home games against the likes of Dundee or Inverness. Apart from that he would be a liability. If he is a midfielder/attacker then there is not a single player in our team he would get in in front of. Commons, Sammy, Stokes, Forrest and Hooper are all light years ahead of him so I dont see what he would offer us.

    His level is lower SPL at best.

    James McFadden has next to nothing left in his locker now.

    Would be a total waste of money spent on someone who historically performed twice as hard for his national team than he did for his club teams.

    Dunno about that mate, his performance for Birmingham against Arsenal is always something he could pull out his locker.

    He's still only about 28, I don't want him but I don't think he's finished.

    Just someone I know. Could well be bull, but fits with the unknown name thing. Never heard of him and can't find anything searching that name on google. Though a first name would be a help.
