Voted Griffiths. The man's on fire.

However, I haven't seen any of our games so far this season (no laptop :54:) and I wouldn't be surprised if Deila went with Ciftci again. He started Ciftci days after Leigh banged in a hattrick after all.

Why would it be Ciftci? We seriously need to win this match. We're not playing that Icelandic team tomorrow. This side are decent.

In a wonderfully contrasted sense I'd pick Cifti to start, even though I think Griff is currently the better striker. Cifti needs time to gel into the squad, and Griff plays better when under a challenge. Think its a twofer...

Griffiths. Ciftci should first prove himself. This is imo. not the match for that.

Happy with either, Ronny should approach the decision tactically rather than playing who deserves it more. The game plan for me would be to have Ciftci in there tiring them out and have Griffiths come on as an impact sub. I wouldn't like to think Ronny didn't do that just because there's pressure to play Griffiths from the start.

It really should be Griffiths. He deserves it. And he'll score.

Ciftci will start unless Ronny has a complete about turn. At weekend he said Cif is better when playing against tight defences, is good at holding up play and laying off, whereas Griff is great where the opposition play a more open formation, eg Eibar. He also said Griff is ideal when he comes on in 2nd half and every player has important part to play.

So unless Ronny plays his trump card and goes for the unpredictable tactics, he will play 4-2-3-1 with Cif up front, high pressing game, with both CB's leaving gaps, Izzy's GPS not working and forgetting to get back in defense, slow 1st 20 min with us all reaching for the pacemaker as Qarabag create chances - maybe score - Broony then deciding enough is enough and leads us in at half-time,1-1, Griff comes on at 60min and scores 2 goals for a 3-1 victory. Post match Ronny ssays it was a tough game, Qarabag are a very good side, tempo in 1st 20 min was too slow and we were too open, got them in at half time, told them so, much better in 2nd half and we need to play better in 2nd leg.

    Just another day in Paradise.

You might be right, Griff's pace might hurt them late on, although Ciftci seems to be lacking a bit of confidence..

Ciftci, he's got the better hold up play and he'll be far better suited in my opinion.

Griffiths. Can't not start him when he's scoring so freely.

Sorry mate but he's not been very good so far. Why take that chance again in such a meaningful game?

I hope Griffiths gets the nod. Ciftci isn't ready. Simple.

We signed a big powerful striker that has a gallus streak and good hold up play for Europe.

I wasn't particularly jumping for joy that we did but this is why he was signed.
