No one is under pressure to buy anything but I think it's a nice gesture and it gives something to the club. I'm going to get one for my bro in laws 50th :icon_mrgreen:

Think I could live without one.

Nothing more than an outrageous excuse to fleece money from people, but more fool those who actually buy one :bbpd:

Why are people kickin up such a fuss?

If you don't think it's a good idea or think it's a rip off then just don't buy one. But does that mean no one should be allowed to buy one, even if they want to!?

If they were charging £400 a brick, big deal. If people think it's worth payin it, let them.

If anything the club should be congratulated on specifying exactly what you get for your money. It would have been easy to have been vague about the whole thing and then leave people disappointed!

Its not a whole brick, they just stick a cover onto the old bricks, the huns is a mess, but i think it is good and fair enough to make some money for the club!

    Waste of money.

As I said earlier in this thread I don't understand why some are so negative about this. If you don't like the idea, think it is a waste of money or whatever then fine don't buy one. It's not a big deal but is just another small way for the club to raise some money. I actually now have a brick on the jungle wall myself.

Cant believe how much some people are complaining. If you don't like it, don't buy it. It's as simple as that.

It obviously means a lot to some people, I mean having someones name imprinted in Paradise for the rest of their lives isn't all that much of a bad idea for a gift is it?

Too many auld men on this forum I guess!

totally agree with you mate, ive been bought one as a present, and in all honesty i dont see the problem, sometimes the negativity on this forum really gets on my *,the club needs to make money any way they can and and if people are willing to pay for the likes of this then let them

bdee i think its more the facvt, we don't like to see celtic trying to rip off the average supporter with different marketing ploys trying to test our faith as celtic fans seeing will we succumb in efforts to be the 'celtic before nothing' supporter

I think people are just over exaggerating it mate.

Has there been this huge marketing ploy to sell these things? Or have Celtic in any way implied that you'll be any less of a supporter just because you don't buy one?

Personally I think it's an ideal memorial... or even just a birthday present for that * who you don't have a clue what to get for them! :shamrock:
