jurassic,bobo, miller, magic and possibly beattie too injury prone, King Artur is defo leaving in summer for no less than 8 mill tho, arsenal favourites, marshall good enuf to replace him when he gets he confidence back

 

With todays performance half the team should be sold.
Just kiddin, but a big shuffle has to come into play, and although I feel there has been an improvement with the people running the club, the cautious frugal prudent mentality has to be put aside and money spent to do well again next season.

Sort of agree although getting Gordon would be tempting (although expensive with EPL competition). Forget his dodgy friendly appearances. I was watching clips of his first games including the CL ones and the 18 year old Marshall really was a very very good goalie, nothing like some of his later form with the fat Marsh (who was only 20 even then) . I think he suffered a huge depression when he had to go back to the reserves after the CL games etc and his confidence was shattered by the uber-sieve in WGS's first games in charge. Big pity he got injured cause I still think there is a technically outstanding goalie in there and we need to know if he can get that back ASAP cause it could save us 6 million quid.

 

Our attack sucks so we must sell one or two needless players... Selling Miller is a must and probably Magic should go with him too...

 

Marshall has already left, he plays for Norwich. Anyway I agree with all the other ones and I would also sell Doumbe because there was no point in signing him because he never plays and I would also sell Sno because he is * and I think from selling all they players we could get some money to buy some good players.

I think that Beattie should stay, my 2nd choice striker to partner JVOH after Rirodan.

Gravesen can stay perhaps a year or two before going. He's still good in his own way.

 

How much do ye reckon McGeady, Gravesen and would net us?

 

We would get £20 Million for McGeady

And £2.5 Million for Graveson

 

At least twenty! Maybe thirty ?

Pure insania! We wouldnt get a third of that for McGeady. If he was a 20 million quid player we wouldnt all be talking about his limitations on a thread this week. The 'sand dancer' dribbles well but otherwise has a lot to prove. I think other clubs might just notice this. I doubt right now we would get bids even moderatelty over 5 million for him. If we could get 20 million for him I would sell him now, buy back Shaun along with three oher 5 million quid players.

If I just think with my head and dont get emotional about it there is no question I would take Shaun back. When fully fit, he was twice the player McGeady is and I would be delighted if he returned (I know it aint going to happen though). Basically the EPL only go for our very best players and he was probably one of our top four most talented players-only Naka, Artur and JVOH are on the same level of desirability to other clubs.

Petrov gets the same stupid treatment. He is suddenly called crap cause he has gone too, even though he was a superb box-to-box midfielder who served us well in Europe and was captain of his country. Its Villa who are crap not Stan. He was top class and one of out main problems is we have not replaced him. Our attacking central midfielders for most of the season-JJ and Grav have been no sort of replacement at all. Rubbish in comparison. Hartley may do it-we will see over the next couple of months.

Let me put it in simple English-we have been weakened by losing Stan and Shaun because the replacements are not as good.
