Just wondering who yous are expecting most from this season? I dont necessarily mean player of the season or anything like that im meaning for example if Hooper leaves do u expect Stokes to step up and be the man or do you think Kayal or Izaguirre can recapture the form of their first season here or do u fancy one of the new guys to step up and make a starting place their own. Personally im looking forward to seeing Rogic get a run of games and force his way into the starting line up a hope he is giving the opportunity to. Also think its a big season for Forrest.

Tough question. I'm expecting the most from Rogic, in terms of development. I can really see him becoming a quality player for us.
For POTY, I'm going to say Matthews. I personally prefer Lustig but Matthews will play more and I just have a feeling he'll be great this season. -

I'm hoping to see big Efe screw the nut in and become a more reliable player for us.
Hopefully he can cut out the silly mistakes and turning up late for training and start turning in some good performances.

Virgil to become one of our best centre backs in a long time, and Rogic to show himself as a creative, flair player.
-
Kayal will prove he's more than a squad player.
-
Virgil has looked a total bombscare so far.
As always, I expect a lot of Brown and Ledley in the middle of the park. I hope big Balde does well but haven't seen anything to instill any sort of confidence thus far. I think we'll have more than enough to put together a fantastic domestic run and get something close to a record points haul all the same. -

IMO Kayal has a lot to prove next season. I'm not saying it's make or break or anything, in fact I think he's always been a fairly reliable player but his second season was a definite step down from his first (where he was phenomenal for large parts especially early on) and he's injury prone as well. If he can get get to the level of his first season and stay fit he could be our most important player considering Wanyama's away. I also think we'll struggle find a better replacement for Wanyama than Kayal for the amount of money we're willing to spend.
I agree with Forrest as well - wasn't overly impressed last year in a lot of games and there's an immaturity about him I'd like to see him iron out of his game. Obviously he's only young but he's easily the biggest prospect to come through the youth system since McGeady so it'd be nice to see him step it up a level.
Also yeah, I'd say it's a big season for Stokes and it could be for Tony Watt as well although I doubt the latter would be sold if he underperformed considering he's still a very young player. -

Balde spoke a great deal when he came in so I expect that he can put his money where his mouth is.

I'm expecting Izzy and Kayal to turn it on this year. Both players have had a few injuries last season. They now should be back to full fitness and raring to go.
Kayal has big boots to full replacing Wanyama in the middle, but I think he is more than capable of doing that job.
Izzy on the other hand oozes class and I think you'll see him back to his best this season. -

Think Kayal and brown are going to be through ones who hold our team together this year. Hope we have a striker who can score 20+ goals stokes?

i expect forrest to be terrorizing defences this season

Got a really bad feeling about how balde will turn out as a player. Hopefully im wrong and I expect him to prove the majority of us wrong.

I think we'll see Ledley being our best player this season.

Samaras. If he is still improving as he have in the last 2 seasons, he will be unstoppable this year.
