Manchester has a larger city and metro population. By some distance too.

Mostly people who go thinking it's the bollocks then find out quickly it's just bollocks and leave.

    Trains are always heaving.

I was in Manchester last weekend, nice place. Still doesn't compare to Glasgow though.

If Glasgow had the weather I'd never have to leave the place.

    Glesga! * miss living there.

Visit my mams every month or so and love hearing all the stories of whats been happening, always a great laugh. Only think you hear about living here is somecunt's cat's went missing or some pish. Boring as * compared to the madness of Glasgow

Look at Manchester on the Google maps, it's huge. It's way bigger than Glasgow. Birmingham is also a larger city. I think Glasgow is the UK's 4th largest city.

We have more tenements and high-rise, so I suppose we get more people into a smaller area. I still think we have a larger population, I think we were actually bigger than Birmingham at one stage in 1941 where our population was well over a million.

In terms of square miles, Glasgow is bigger.

It is 67.76 sq m compared to Manchester, which is 44.65 sq m.

Birmingham is huge though - 103.

Manchester have produced better bands, but the music scene in Glasgow has the most variety of music events per week outside of London.the rave scene in Glasgow was also best in the uk in terms of gabber, hardstyle events.also for outdoor enthusiasts we are the gateway to the Scottish highlands, the most beautiful parts of the uk.glasgow lies in a beautiful big valley, you just need the right height or viewpoint.i think Glasgow from a touristic viewpoint is the better city, old Trafford or man citys stadium are dead compared to ibrox or celtic park.although the people of Glasgow are getting more stuck up all the time, you still get that old school vibe down to earth people in the right places.

Never actually been to Manchester but can imagine it just being a worse version of Glasgow with nauseating accents.

    Edited :fear:
