I think they lost at home to Kilmarnock if I remember correctly(Laudrup and McCoist missing a few), that swung it our way.. that and the Burley and Lambert goals at New Year, people remember that game and the goals, but more important imo was Stubbs last minute equaliser that stopped them running away with it early on.

That momentum would have been too hard to stop..

Was that one on TV ? I remember a load of listening to that in a pub in Limerick on the radio and going mental when he scored but can't remember why we were all listening to the radio. Either it wasn't on TV or we picked a pub without Sky :giggle1:

In New York watching live on the tv early morning. It was mad, nobody in Ireland could watch it live but I could see it in North America. Great days...

    Brilliant.

It’s funny looking back how limited coverage was back then.

No YouTube, Twitter, few people had sky. It was the radio all the way mostly, and you didn’t see the goals until Sportscene at night. Kinda miss those days.

Edit: surprised there was live coverage anywhere at all

Was at the game. Was 14 and the I couldn't quite understand the emotion the older fans were displaying. Only as an * do I realise how vital and important that season and victory over St Johnstone was. I ran on the park from the main stand and the view and noise from the pitch was unreal. No wonder so many player get intimidated. Ma uncle nicked some grass and stuck it in his specs case!! Was hard to take it all in. Remember the bus back to the pub, bouncing! Then up to ma uncles for a party!!

I will always remember the rumble of people standing up off their seats in anticipation just before Brattbakk knocked in the second. Brilliant.

Was in 108 then, had been drunk every day since the Dunfermline game. Nerves were * shattered. But was a beautiful sight walking to the welcome inn after it, beautiful sunny day and green and white everywhere . Was like Seville on a budget

My earliest celtic memory is Dallas getting cunted with that coin, so when was that, 99? :56: For some reason that sticks out and I could only have been about 3.

Was at the game and walked up to the gorbals so my mum could pick me up. Drove down the paisley road west and the looks on the huns outside the grapes was something ill remember forever. Savoured those tears

Halved in with a mate that year for a season book. That week was his game so i listened on the radio. One of the greatest feelings of my life, and only winning a European trophy could better it. I was 16 at the time and was pished. Always remember I had a 90 quid new pair or Armani jeans on that day. I was walking up to my mates with a bottle of bud in each back pocket after the game. My mate jumped on my back and tore the * out my jeans.

Actually apart from the game itself and it sounds like I was stood pretty close to DamianWayne from the way he describes Henriks goal. One of my main memories of the day was the guy that ran that bus had a strict no booze rule and we all went to the Offie after the game and assumed he would be making an exception for this game. Did he * !? :giggle1:

Stayed round corner in the street watching the cars was making communion the next day still far to young to really appreciate what it ment until a few years after

Edit: i actually went to celtic park for lunch in the brother walfrid suite "i think it was that" fell ill when i was there and a guy who worked there passed was speaking to us and my maw asked him if i could go see the tunnel and dressing room. Back in those days on tours nobody really got to see these places so the guy seen i was wearing the celtic tartan and out of his own kindness gave me a quick behind the scenes tour

I have the pictures of in the tunnel but the film must have ran out with me in dressing room and with trophy so was raging about that
