Before i start i will say up until recently i was a fan of Gordon.
December 06: Ginges Celtic are streaks ahead in the SPL still in 3 competions.Only beinging knocked out the MM cup. Over at castle greyskull that French twats shot incharge looks to be getting worse. Unrest in the rangers camp. Armbands playing super * as a pose to just general pish. Celtic have the finanical advantage and the leauge with a much stronger team.
Jan 07ish: The scum bring in the cardigan and all of sudden they pick up some momentum. Celtic though struggle their form. Now I'm not normally one for the January transfers but, theres not point in making moves just for the * of it but when the team needs refreshed thats what its there for. It was obvious for a few months we needed something with Maloney injured/Sold. If you look at the players that left BBJ, Stan and Shaun key players and okay we sined players to replace them but it was obvious it wasn't working. But GS doesn't do anything about it.
This is a continuing problem. Stevie Woner could see we needed a DMF but no he leaves it. And a donkey. I'm sure even that French * knows. If your selling your right-back thats been a constant for 2 seasons, you need to buy someone to replace him. Strach see this aswel, only 6months after everyones eles.
Now there goes my structured points I'm * off so i will now rant.
His teams are one dimensional. He's no plan be. He could make Maradonna look pish. He also has a special talent ive never seem before. Being able to make a team 2-0 and palying well at half-time. Come out and play like the'ye just been told they'll get a bous for being the moodiest unhappy * on the pitch. He can also buy players and not play them E.g Deeks.
The other problem i have is how often does he give young player a chance. How many times this season can u honestly say u've not been able to second-guess the team and the bench.
Finally what sort of mottivation do the players get from a man whos previos achivments stretch from getting beat in a final to sometimes not getting religated.
Big Jock once sayed "Celtic jerseys are not for second best, They don't shrink to fit inferior players"
I'm sure that saying can be applyed to managers aswel.
In the Ginger Ninja we have a man for who 17th is an accomplishment

Where did it all go wrong? errrrrrrrrrrrrm the day we signed a second rater as a manager? I think the board were shopping in the bargain basement :38: And before anyone asks who's to say a better manager wouldn't have achieved the same 2 league wins and last 16 of CL. Pity the clubs recent financial success couldn't be projected onto the field.

So true :50: It's all about raking in money. If we lose the league and our present form continues we wont get far in next seasons competitions and that will hit CFC in the pocket. If Mr Lawell is half as savvy in business as we all hope he is then he will be out looking for a successor or at least puting some feelers out as to who would be interested. -

The downward spiral has basically been due to key players (Lennon/Petrov/Hartson etc) leaving and their replacements not being good enough.
The spine of our team, or lack of, is not good enough.
Strong characters like Balde, Gravesen and Hartson, who thrived in old firm games have been shifted to the side, to make way for third-rate wasters like Caldwell, Donati, Hartley, JVOH and so on.
The answers are there within the squad if he would just swallow his pride, get the pole out his * and put the right people into his team. -
where it all went wrong?,I'd say the day MON tendered his resignation forcing the board to panic and bring in a manager who had only ever been relegated with the only top team he had been with. Bearing in mind that the same team had been in the top flight for 34 years before he took over, i'd hardly call him a successful manager at the time.

Never pretended to like the man and it has nothing to do with his Aberdeen roots. With regard to him as a manager I was as ambivalent as the rest of you when he arrived but even in the 2 seasons that we won I was never convinced that he would bring us great success. I know he took us to the last 16 of the CL but given the stature of CFC I have no doubt that was something that would have happened with us eventually.
I wanted him to be a great manager but to be honest he isn't. Over the last few seasons we have heard terms such as team 1, 2 and now it's team 3 and we haven't shown much improvement. On more than one occasion his tactics have been baffling. In addition I get the impression he likes to treat the fans and the media like idiots by flanneling us all the time . It might have been funny initially but now I for one cringe when he's being interviewed.... he has become a clown. Over the period I have grown to dislike him intensly and I make no apology as it's all about opinions.
In so far as motivating and supporting my team is concerned I am a season ticket holder and I go and cheer them on at every opportunity and I will continue to do so despite the nightmare they are going through. I fail to see how voicing my dislike of Strachan and his tactics on here would influence the team and affect their morale. This forum is all about people who are Celtic minded coming on and voicing their thoughts about the team and the club we don't all have to agree. I'm sure that the club and Strachan couldn't care less what we have to say anyway.
In short I for one believe that I have a right to voice my displeasure. -
