when ki comes back...

I know most believe Ki deserves to start, for me though, I believe Scott Brown is essential in a lot of tough games. Ki has skill and good control, which is fine in games where there is a lot of room to play...

...Brown on the other hand will get stuck in amongst the opposition, and is fantastic at breaking up play and disrupting the opponents defense, especially when they have 10 men behind the ball. This allows the likes of Mc Court and Kayal to dictate play and get a little more space.

The Scottish game does not allow too much room a lot of the time, and it all depends on the day really, but all I can say is I'm glad we have the option of two different types of player to hand and available!

 

I would leave the team as it is now, we're looking good would be foolish to start messing with the team again.

I don't think Ki should automatically walk back into the team when he arrives back at Celtic. He will inevitably force his way back in sooner or later but it shouldn't be an automatic decision to drop someone for Ki.

Yeah would be silly as we're looking great and to disrupt that just before the old firm games would be suicide.

 

All good & well saying this but we win when Brown plays and don't win so often when he doesn't. I've never been a big fan of Brown but the stats don't lie - he makes a difference! As for Ki - earn your place, like everyone else!!!

Playing brown on the right allows us to have a 4-5-1 when not in possesion, and a 4-4-2 when in possesion.

that's the midfield we should play IMO with juarez and ledley in reserve or rotating in the cup and against the lesser sides as they have shown up to be decent squad players.

 

Stokes in midfield? FFS, no.

 

I think he will. He´s such a great player and I think he would fit in with Kayal or Brown.

 

Ki has a lot to do to get back in the side because since he's been away Brown, Kayal and Ledley have shown glimpses of great promise and they've also shown an abundance of fight. That's something that I've seen little from Ki, and it's something that we need in the team if we are to win the title back.

 

Totally agree, kayal and broony have been solid and productive, if theres guna be a fight for places it'll be between ki and ledley. Ki has alot to prove still, as with the rest too!

 

Brown-Kayal-Ki/ledley-Commons(if he can do what he was doing at Derby this season)

That should be our midfield from now on.

didnt know that, has he ever played there for us? dont think he will play on the wing anyway, we have enough wingers already, especially after signing commons.

 

Well he managed it on Wednesday, and had a very good game. His inclusion there solidifies the midfield and gives us a very good balance.

 

i thought ledley was on the wing on wednesday. my apologies.

Watched him today was outstanding once again , commentary kept on talking about How there are massive clubs from Europe watching him and would love to take him from Celtic .
