Aye, any Springer I know is a a bit mental bar the one, but he was abused as a young cub and the family I know who took him got him from the animal shelter I think, so he's a bit subdued.

As you say though, cracking nature. Just mad, friendly and playful *. Actually seem quite loyal and loving too, they'll spend 30mins going * beserk, then come over and lick you and want petted for ages :smiley-laughing002:.

Had a Cavalier King Charles before that, wee gay dog. Class wee dog though but had to put him down, had Cushings Syndrome, was * horrible on the poor thing.

Great to see terriers' tails no longer being docked.
Had a JR for 15 years. Got him as a kid and was in my 20's when he died.
Fought his way through life with man and beast. Always went for bigger dogs after him, preferably *, way less aggro and macho * with bigger breeds.

Agree. Would never have my dog docked, totally unneccessary. Mines does like to have it out with larger dogs but not too agressive just very energetic.

    Ah he's a lovable wee *, but my * he's thick as *. :smiley-laughing002:

It's weird though I've got a friend who has a mongrel, like a cross between a terrier and a beagle or something like that. And he's more intelligent than my friend. He knows how to open doors and windows and everything! And I'm thinking, "how's my one afraid of his own reflection?"

Couldn't believe it one day when I looked out the back window and seen my Springer jumping up and down trying to hit the door handle down and opened the door, only time I'd seen him do it prior to that, don't know if he'd been trying or had seen one of us use the door handle and it just dawned on him. He's a bit daft himself so I was shocked :smiley-laughing002:.

The king charles though was quite smart, house trained after a couple of days basically and picked up a new trick quite quickly etc. Great dogs but * riddled with diseases, unfortunately for you. :smiley-laughing002:

Lots of breeds have been * up by cowboy breeders and puppy farms.
Same as royalty, in-breeding produces *-ups.

Hybrids and mutts all the way.

i had to put locks on every door in the house as my three year old springer charlie learned that even before he could reach them. as he kept trying to do it. then one day bingo and he makes straight for the kitchen (as he does every time lol) so had to do it:smiley-laughing002:
