And Tom Boyd, Tom Boyd lived about 10 houses along on the opposite side of Larsson. Still lives there. Barry Ferguson stayed near there too.

I remember seeing Fernando Ricksen when I was going to Bothwell Castle on a school trip.

refitted the BP garage in Newton Mearns( which isn't techincally Glasgow but Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Paisley, it's all the weej to me) a few months ago. Was like something off the telly, massive houses, 4 beamers and audis in the drive etc. Wouldnt mind a wee bit of the posh cooch that was milling about but ended up staying in digs in Rutherglen so safe to say that was the end of that idea

A pal of mine originaly from Castlemilk done well for himself and ended up quite high up in a company so bought himself a bungalow in Newton Mearns. First day at their new primary school his kids were asked, "my dads got a BMW/Mercedes, what's your dad got"? Snooty wee *.

If you want the big hooses, try Thorntenhall or Whitecraigs.

The biggest contrast is Albert Drive in Pollokshields. Bottom end has tenements with all sorts living in them and the top end has million pound villas in it.

How far out do you think this is allowed. I live in Mearns and its basically Glasgow. If it weren't for the * up boundaries which will inevitably be changed we would officially be in Glasgow.

Ahh right, sounds like I'm getting myself mixed up here. A Celtic player from that era lived in Newton Mearns and had a tonne of pets, allegedly. No idea who it was now.

Gould and Nakamura and Mjallby used to live on my old street.

Lots of huns though. De bour, Ricksen, Amuruso, Durrant, Micheal Mols lived in the house next door and the current house im in used to be owned by the Reyna guy that played for them.

Newton mearns and giffnock/clarkston areas are the nicest ive seen, some nice bits of bearsden and milngavie as well. Kirkys a * weird place, some really nice parts then other parts more like beirut. I stay in partick which is sound, close enough to the west end but fairly normal as well. Like how rhe 'west end' is spreading though, seeing places like shafton and kingsway getting included in property pages these days.

Worked in Anniesland for 5 year and used to drive through Hyndland most days. Place looked as if it was crawling with money.

Drove through Bishopbriggs yesterday, seemed like a lovely area, some nice big houses.

Apprently Ricksen used to always get done for having parties like every night which really * off the neighbours.

Did Ricksen not stay across the road from John Hartson and shout abuse through his letter box when they both won player of the year?
