When I say Billy Connolly sounds like them I mean it,he's from Glasgow and had the accent well into adulthood, but now talks as if he wants to be some upper-class,extravagant bufter character, like * who go to the West End attempt to sound like.

Self-consciously middle class teenagers in Ireland also often have these *, grating faux-American accents... Jedward would be a good example.

Aye that guy is from the Highlands, luckily further up than I am. He isn't Inverness, isn't strong enough an accent but he is somewhere around there!

That guy is not from Glasgow, highlands like others have said.

Nicest is probably the West End, although most of the people do speak with ridiculous accents.

The West End is full of fannies, not just their accents but they just are, the accents only add to it.

If your from glesga then you cant really help talking like an * though if your surrouned with * not from here. As nobody outside here can probably understand how 2 of us would communicate to each other. * from america would think were talking in hebrew.

I don't understand the massive level of hate for the Glasgow Uni posh West End accents. Aye they sound like wee bumders but I'd rather have them than junky neds hassling people for money just being wee wanks in general.

It's been years since I lived in Scotland, but when I did, Newton Mearns seemed to be the best part. That's where all the footballers lived, anyway.

Chris Sutton lived round that way, had all manner of pets, apparently.

Sutton stayed in Thorntonhall mate which is only a couple of miles outside Glasgow otherwise I'm sure it would have been mentioned already in here as the average house price is about a million bucks.

Alan Thompson stayed in the mearns :50:
