How many miles outside of Glasgow does a town have to be,to actually be considered outside of Glasgow?

Really? I've always thought it was a pretty nice place. You get some right annoying spoiled wee * in the nice areas though. Although rather that than junkies wae nae teeth.

There's quite a few nice places if you look beyond the negative stereotypes. I prefer living in "normal" places than the posh ends anyway, a lot of West End where all the footballers and lawyers are is nice to go to but I couldn't live there permanently.

Yup. My mates bird is from Kirky...I went up one night and it is a shitehole.

Might be biased but I love it down my way (Cardonald). Mainly because there aren't many arseholes, plenty of bookies and shops, and only a short trip to town.

My old man stays in Kelvinside, pretty nice so it is.

Martin O'Neill stayed round the corner and I think Lennon stays up that way.

Edit: I stayed in Scotstoun for a bit and quite liked it.

    West end by far imo.

I've lived here for years and the places on the outskirts of Glasgow have no appeal to me at all. I hate not being able to walk outside my door to shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs etc.

    * having to catch the last train home at like 11pm. Couldn't handle living in many places outside the centre of Glasgow.

I'm the same. Love living in the westend. Quiet, but close enough to the pubs. restuarants and shops.

The nicest place in Glasgow? :97:

You've clearly been scrapping with * from Kirky :56:

I'm from Lenzie, bought my first gaff in Woodilee Village a few weeks ago and stay in Kirky just now. The split is roughly 50/50, the houses across the road are worth in excess of a million as an example.

You've clearly not travelled about much :56:

Bishy has as many zoomers as Kirky does, it's just a smaller area.

Was just about to post the exact same. I was waiting on a chinese and these kids walked into the takeaway. It was all "like, totally, amaze, *, yeah" in a faux american accent. Wanted to stab them all with chopsticks.

That guy doesn't have your typical west end sound imo. He's DEFINITELY from the highlands and probably from Inverness. He even talks about working on the rigs :smiley-laughing002:

    Such a great video.

It is, but it's a small price to pay for the location. The trouble with places on the outskirts of Glasgow is you have to drive everywhere. Even to get a train you need to drive to the * train!
