What's the deal with Juarez?

hope he gets a chance again soon, and not played out of position. thought he was at his best when used in centre of midfield, looked strong and always willing to go forward...the very least he should be played at right back ahead of wilson and cha, but really seems to be some kind of problem with lennon, will just have to wait and see

 

I was really excited when I saw that Juarez had signed. Its a shame the way things are going. Until maybe there is an interview in the press or something, who know why it is though. Fans are left in the dark about stuff like this, with nothing but dumb rumours, as per usual

 

This is my thoughts exactly. These guys in there would make us more flexible both in defence and attack and due to all these guys having the ablity to get forward the opposition would not know what runner to track. I guess the question is who drops out the current 11. It has got to be Samaras, he is the one guy to me that does not fit into the current style, energy and mentality of the team. One good performace in 10 games is not a luxury we can afford. We were crying out for the afore mentioned midfield line up in the OF game.

 

Definetly would like to see more of him and McCourt i trust Lennys ability but using more substitutions is something which is needed to let these playes have a chance.Hope Juarez isnt wanting to leave already seems like one of the better players we got.

i've lurked these forums for about a year already. Never really had anything to contribute since you guys know more about celtic than me, but i will say this (as a mexican following juarez since u-17 days):

he is a work horse, maybe not the most technically gifted player, but if there was one player from the U-17 team that won me over when i had doubts it was him. Most notably in the Gold Cup and that qualifier match against USA in estadio azteca... A game played in the middle of the day, polluted environment, high altitude - he never gave up on a ball or a play. I will take him any day on my team.

I've seen a few matches this season, and a few eufa qualies + pre season games. He played as i expected, but if he isnt playing it is for a reason. Times like these should try his character and hopefully he will learn something from it.

I think lennon does what is best for the team, eventually that will even pay dividends for juarez (say celtic qualifies for CL), and he can get a chance when the starters need to rest and he may earn his spot again.

Again, his effort will never be in question in my mind.

 

i think Juarez needs a chance. He remindes me of Park Ji-Sung. Do simple things well, never gives up, always tracks back to help, team-player, and the energy.

i would play him as ledley hasnt really shown me that he is a better player..

 

i hope he sorts his head/form out and gets back to playing like he did at the start.

 

In pre-season he looked as if he was going to be a star for us, it's worrying that he has not featured much!
We've seen he has the ability so we've got to presume that its his head that's not right and considering Lennys reluctance to play Ki last season you would think Juarez would have got a run in the middle of the park especially as Lenny signed him.

It could be a bit of a blessing though as Ki is starting to live up to his billing!

I really hope Juarez gets his act together and starts fighting for his place!

Ledley has made a slow start to his Celtic career too, we need more from him and Juarez fighting for a start would shake Ledley into action.

I never thought I would say it but we missed Brown against the huns!

 

I've been complaining for weeks that Juarez should be getting a game and I can't understand why Lennon isn't playing him. I'm worried if he doesn't get more games he'll be away in January or at the end of the season.

 

niggling injury and i think lennon may be punishing him privately for his party a while back...

 

sorry, how does that work?
hes made a poor start, therefor, logically, he must be getting signed by a better team? Juarez is still twice the player of Crosas, hes off-form, maybe hes homesick, just like ki was, Juarez will come good, hes still a young guy, and hel run his feet into the ground week in , week out. Future captain

 

i know the teams been winning and playing well,

but imo i would prefer to c juarez in the team ahead of ledley,and when everybodys fit i would prefer juarez an kayal as the 2 cm's as i feel that would give us a lot of drive an energy in the middle of the park

i really hope juarez can get back in the team as i can c the bhoy becoming a legend here in many years to come

 

this guy is easily our best center mid, he is our new petrov, maybe being punished for his partying or something, but this guy should be playing week in week out

I like Juarez, but he did absolutely nothing today.

 

To be honest all of our players played the second half at walking pace and still scored 5 goals.

 

Juarez did himself no favours when he came on today, he contributed nothing. I know that we were strolling but he should have shown more. He is not going to displace anyone playing like that.
