to be honest I dont think this should make a difference to us. We needed to get some decent signings in regardless of their financial situation. I would rather build a team that could be all comers, not buy depending on how much money the huns have.

to many worry about wots going on over the road ,* wot they are doing its about us getting things right this time, its about getting a team that has fight in them ,its about getting a balance correct between attacking and defending and not throwing everyone forward, its about being hard to beat first then adding style ,its the only way to do it.

People saying that we have got plenty of time to make signings.

    HAVE WE *!!!!!!!!!!!

When does pre season start????? Before the world cup ends???? After it ends??? Who knows???

Then we have Samaras and Ki to come back as they have had no break, maybe N'Guemo as well IF he signs.

If we are start pre-season AFTER the world cup that is anytime from Monday 12th July. We then * off on a pointless trip to america, then come back, have a week of training, play CHAMPIONS LEAGUE qualifier, got to LONDON to play Emirates cup, then SECOND LEG QUALIFIER. FAR too much travelling is gonna be done, before our season starts. Are we going to wait until 31st AUGUST to get a few loan signings in?

We should have players signed up already.

As I said in a previous post, BULLARD, CAMPBELL and the rest were just names put forward BEFORE season ticket renewal day, to get us to buy them, then we have had Daryl * Murphy since then

    I cannot tell a lie.

I believe the real one has green and white hoops with a pic of brother Walfrid.

The only difference is that the real one is rusted shut due to a few years of inactivity.

    At least mine opens !:icon_mrgreen:

The transfer window doesn't open till the 1st of July, so we can't sign anyone till then, or at least we can't announce anything till then, i hope!!

TRANSFER WINDOW OPENS ON 9TH JUNE. Players contracts Generally dont run out until the final day of the month, so 1st of July is usually when players are paraded, so bosmans dont usually get photographed until then. Players Purchased can move any time between 9th June and 31st August

Ben Hutchinson is *. He's that bad the Dundee fans were booing him and wanting him punted back to Celtic towards the end of last season.

Transfers take a lot of time to complete. You have to negotiate with a club to find an acceptable transfer fee, plus any add-on's, clauses and whatever. Then with the player you're negotiating weekly wages, bonuses, sponsorship obligations, signing-on fees, agents fees, showing them around Lennoxtown and Celtic Park, showing them accomodation for themselves and family, schools...

... all while any number of other clubs are doing the same thing.

It's a lot of money, and multi-million pound deals don't get done in a week. The vast majority of deals all around Europe are done near the end of the transfer window. Plus, the World Cup is on, and a lot of top players are fairly busy.
