Id move to Celtic straight away and im quite suprised nobody really thinks the same!?I love Celtic and would play for free even at 20 I know nobody here will ever experience it but i honestly think and laugh if yous will lads that i would rather score the winner for Celtic in a packed OF game at Parkhead than a hatrick for Barcelona in a CL final.

i've daydreamed about this many a time. imagined that a genie makes you the best player in the world, unable to be injured, can score anytime, etc. and i've always thought i would go to celtic and play my entire career there. becoming a celtic legend and being known as the greatest player who could have done anything but chose to play for the club he loved and got the most joy killing the club he hates is an awesome idea. you've always got the national team to prove you're the best, imagine leading scotland or ireland or usa to the world cup final lol. but being able to do whatever and say whatever you want in the press without anyone being able to do anything about it, how great would that be? i would go to every press conference saying rangers are *, scum, a disgrace, rangers fans should be ashamed, etc. you're the best player in the world, who's gonna disagree? love the idea, no question, i would definitely play for celtic

Because you can create stupid spam posts by responding

Got to agree a stupid thread which has a juvenile fantasy waiting for fantasy responses which in reality no-one would even consider if they were in sound mind.. money talks

Thats a tough question and really comes down to how much you love the club. If it was me id go on loan to celtic for a couple of years so i could experience playing in te green and white, that way you still have your best years ahead to go on to higher standards.

No-one in their right mind would turn down a job offering 50 grand a week less... especially when they could still perform to the level of the justified wage of 30 grand a week later in life.

As said it's fantasy, someone believing in non reality what they would do for their club.. would be better if the money was on the table and see some responses then.. think many would change their attitude.

Even if you moved to Celtic at 20, played til 35, got 30k every season, you'd still collect 23.4m over the career.
Thats more than enough money for me.
Celtic, Celtic, that's the team for me!

I'd definitely go to Celtic at some point in my career, of course I'd already be playing for Scotland which would be enough for me.

Here's a question: You're playing for a team in the Welsh second division, earning a couple hundred a week, and a Ranger scout spots you and your talent.

They offer big money (let's say £20k a week, 100 times you current wage) to sign you up before any other club can get a sniff. Do you sign?

    ...I wouldn't.

Who gives a * if its a step down in terms of quality of opposition??? you have the chance to go and be a great for the club that means a lot more than the club you are playing for.

four leaf clover, just cant get enough.
If I were the best footballer in the world, I would wait till I was out of contract with whoever, go to Celtic on a free for 10K a week, win a few leagues and maybe a CL then go in the transfer market for 50 million on a 3 year deal at 80 K a week, then return to Celtic on a free. I would make all my money on adverts, as I am the best footballer in the world!!!!

Well I would like to share that poor house with ya. If I had 30K a week I think i might just start buying crazy *, massive trampolines are the first thing that comes to mind.

I'm in quite sound mind thanks, and I'd certainly consider it.

Even 30K a week is an obscene amount to get paid for playing football - I'd probably be morally ashamed to accept that much, never mind 80K.

For me it wouldn't be about the money, but I wouldn't be throwing away the chance to play with the best players in the world, in the purest football team to grace the sport in years. That's what football's all about.

I would be keeping myself in good nick & moving to the Hoops at about 30, give them a good four or five years before retiring to open my underwater ocelot farm. With big trampolines. And a mahogany four poster bed carried by a quartet of hot air balloons.

Seems like this one is desperate for money *. The fact that you would play for the huns is pathetic. I feel sick.
