I personally wouldn't be giving two * about that now mate. He promised to pay for things prior to him being cast adrift for no apparent reason. He has been shat on, so it's only right that he returns the favour in my opinion.

    Ach, suppose so.

He could still come out of this with his dignity in tact though, instead of being lowered to their level? I dunno.

Hope the guy is just being over-dramatic, and the whole thing is a huge misunderstanding.

What to do is book yourself a holiday for the same night the family will all be arriving at the hotel expecting their rooms at your expense.

    If you wanted to add a bit of extra needle to the situation you could always post this photo on your Facebook page (tagging them all in it of course) when you arrive at your hotel, knowing fine well they've been * over with their bookings;

Boom! Green for go! Comfy bed and a hot shower await!

Haven't seen either of my brothers for over 6 months, this thread made me want to find them and ask why they are being * but then I remembered they are 10 and 5 ....

I wouldn't fancy going to my brothers stag, for the main reasons that they are drunken * and embarrassing.

Do you act the * when drunk?

Right what the * is going on here.

If you can't get in contact with your brother you should be asking your mum as she must know or could at least find out.

Secondly, * it all IMHO and everyone else here it seems. Your family have some cheek on them considering you're lending money and paying for things. You should definitely cancel it all if 1) they really, really, really won't tell you why you're not invited, or 2) they tell you some lame excuse of a reason and don't apologise/invite you.

I would only want to go to my family's weddings etc if I got on with them perfectly well. It seems like there is some petty problem your brother or someone has and that would be enough for me to not go out of my way for them. Don't cut ties fully just say, sorry I can't make the wedding and I can't fulfil the promise I made about paying for things. Then go on holiday somewhere if you can at that time, doesn't have to be Barbados just take a break, no social media or calls/texts. Even better if you can get away with a partner or pals.
From then on if you don't get an apology or explanation, bare minimum contact, no favours, apart from your mum/parents.

I'd make sure none of my money was being put into this now.... they could go * themselves if they didn't have the decency to tell me what the problem was or what's going on with the stag etc.....

I'm only asking but do you have any history of drug or alcohol problems? Maybe something that they'd be worried about if you went?

Ok...I've read through this and I can't understand why you can't just text your brother or the best man and say, am I invited to the stag? You say you get on alright and you've paid for everything bar the confetti so you must get on with your family well.

You say it will cause a rift in the family if you ask? Why?

You've probably made the problem ten times worse in your head and now becoming para

Go to the wedding and start dropping subtle hints that you smell gas, seen a guy plant a bomb, got yer hole on the alter ect and ruin their day seems the cheapest and funnest.

He did. Gave the sister the money for her man and paid for the cars and the rooms.

Have we been backing the bad guy? :97:
