    * sakes, TheRealFenian! lol

Can we get a camera crew down to your close? lol

My story is nowhere near as exciting, just how I like it :)

Went from Southside of Glasgow to the Eastend then to Maryhill before heading back to the southside and then onto Sweden. Neighbours have always been sound as but the hustle and bustle of the areas have always been 'lively' for one reason or another. Especially Maryhill.

Great view from out window of the gang 'fights'. Two guys chase one guy, three chase that two, four chase that three, five chase that four and so on. Funny as *. All had weapons as well, big clubs, golf putters, you name it. But when they hit each other they done that really aggressive sounding RAAAAR YA BAS nonsense then a really soft 'holy *, I might actually * hurt or worse this guy! * THAT' hit.

Me and ma mates would sit at the window drinking a beer or cider, smoking a dOObie watching them for hours. Genius!

Now I live in a rich part of Sweden. I'm not rich :) Neighbours are all very Swedish. Sit in their houses, TV on, hardly talk to the neighbours, never * use the huge gardens for anything. All very quite.

We're the Beverly Hill Billies, actually * that! We're the Beverly Hill Timmies of the area. Two very lively dogs, house getting re-paneled so * slowly, I half built a new fence for the porch then the weather turned, four cars in the driveway, only one works, back of the house is a building site. We actually use our gardens though, sit outside drinking round the fire and so on.

Funny this thread just popped up coz am reading Robert Douglas' (NO! OK! NO!) book 'Who's turn for the stairs'. Set in Maryhill 5 years after WWII. It's about the life of these people in their close. Pretty good so far.

I live in a the middle of a row of four town houses. Neighbour to the right is a fat pikey * who has the loudest voice I have ever heard. She has a black guy living with who I presume is the father of her 3 kids and all he does all day is..... * all. Her ugly family park in the residents parking bays (I just knock and ask them to move out of ours) overnight.

On the left I have a MILF and her 3 kids. Never hear a peep from them and the youngest kid normally gets a lift with the mrs to school. Nice family.
    Chalk and cheese.

Ever see an old thread you made and think 'What a lot of * I speak'? :56:

I've got new neighbours now, haven't met any of them. They seem quiet enough.

Im back at my folks at the minute, never hear anything from the ones on either side, used to argue wi them all the time when i was younger. My last address was in oz next to some kind of halfway house in melbourne. Our flat was sound but the noises from next door were wild, was like a zoo * sake.

Soundest neighbours i ever had were when i first moved out, had 2 student lassies from liverpool across from me, an irish couple above and the ones below were never in. Had a week long party after T in the park one year and not one complaint, had gone up to make sure the tunes werent too loud at some points and theyd end up coming in with us lol

When I lived in Paisley my neighbors were mental. Had a mad guy above me who was a diehard St Mirren fan, I remember a game where they really narrowly missed out on promotion to the SPL.. Mad Frank chucked his tele out the winday! There was an auld alky at the bottom who constantly set off fire alarms cause he got steemin and left steak pies in the oven and that, I'm sure he caused two big fires anawl haha. The rest of the neighbors were pretty sound and normal. Aw aye there was a guy across the street who used to shout out his winday at random people, I remember the fire brigade turned up on our street cause the guy in my building, anyway their sirons were on obviously and this annoyed the guy across the street who started going absolutely crazy, he got that angry he ended up hanging out and eventually falling out the window! He was only on the 2nd floor so it was sound.

Moved to Canada now though, my neighbors are jut pure weird, its like something out of a horror film, just bizzare people to be honest. The guy to the left of me is about 45 and all he does is walk his dog, every single day. Lives with his maw and dad as well. So aye I kinda miss the characters of Seedhill haha.

Stay in an upstairs flat above a couple in their 70's.
They're really nice and it's like having underfloor heating :50:

One side of me is a senile old woman who sits on her computer all day and the other side is a hun (bearing in mind we live in england so the odds of a celtic family living next to a hun family being real low) and all the others on my street are asian families who i've no real problem with except they always have 30925940504 family members over on certain days and you can hear them outside

Live in a block of six, Have had a few situations with fires and doors gettin put in etc. Had a junkie shootin up on the top landing but with the help of a neighbour we got rid of him and bounced him down everystep before we threw him out on the street.

Apart from that everyones sound, quiet couple next door, guy through the wall plays pretty decent music, single mum downstairs and an 84 yr old woman above......Come to mention it ive not seen her for about a month, maybe i should check on her?
