Catholic. Haven't been to church in a decade. I guess I'm not really a catholic at all. I worship football and don't have room for much else.

This is my point of view also.

Religion is a fantasy that overtime has become too many peoples reality. The majority of problems throughout history religious/fantasy have been the catalyst to conflicts for 1000´s of years. Amazing to me how so many folk can take scripture so seriously to the point of being happy to die or even murder to protect a there fantastical faith.

The oldest documented religion is Judaism and that is arond 5600 years old. Everybody knows the world is millions of years young. It is amazing to me how faith can blind the facts for so many.

    If this is true.

Then why did the *’s almost exclusively murder, torture and try to exterminate 6 million plus Jews and 100s of thousands of other people including Gypsies and Gays?

Also prior to the almost extermination of those folk, the *’s exclusively separated those same groups into ghettos and camps. I agree with you that the *’s wanted to purify the Arian race, however seeing as you know quite a bit about this subject from your studies. I would be interested to know why the *’s did not target the Sikh’s, Buddhists, Hindu´s or people who follow the biggest faith on the planet Islam In the way they did those other groups?

apologies if i caused any offence mate. I didn't mean to come across as taking a personal dig at you or your religion, was just trying to put my point across. I totally respect anyones decision to follow whatever religion they choose it's just not for me though. Again, sorry if i caused you any offence.

Brought up a Catholic. Saying that I was 'made' to go to chapel, never really believed so I wouldn't class myself as anything. Religion does nothing for me whatsoever although I can't 100% rule it out.

Born & raised a Catholic, but the older I got the more I realised that the Catholic Church is rotten to the core and full of hypocrisy. I left the Church a few years back, but I am still a big fan of Jesus the philosopher.

Buddhism is what I'm getting into now, and it's pretty obvious that that's where Jesus got a lot of his ideas.
