I dread the day I get an iPhone style phone with a big fuckoff screen. When I'm drunk my phone flies out of my hand every two minutes, this * wee blackberry's survived the wars.:56:

I got a samsung galaxy SII. the new one SIII is supposed to be class too.

if you don't want to spend too much money get the SII, if you can afford the new one, take that.

Samsung Galaxy 3 * all over the iPhone :50:

That being said, I've had a smart phone for over 4 years and genuinely hardly use any of it's capabilities - paying on average about £35 p/m.

Contract up in October - will be going for a £30 phone on pay as you go - * waste of money.....for me anyway :50:

Best thing I ever done was get out of a contract.

So much cheaper and these days not being able to get a 12 month contract is laughable lucky to even get an 18 month one from places.

Same, thats why I dont get a touch screen one. My cousins iphone screens has broke fucknos how many times, atleast 4. Id be worse, as like you I drop my blackberry about 4/5 times a week, sit on it and end up phoning * etc :56:

My ma has an iphone 4s and my da has a samsung galaxy 3, as far as I can tell from using them they can do the same stuff, they both work fast, look and feel similar. So id you want one of them your may aswell trying them both in a shop and picking the one you like best. If your not bothere by the big screen and taking pics and videos and just text, phone, use bbm or browse the internet then a blackberry will be fine and probably save you a good few £.

Yeah man the old Nokias were something haha. Definitely going to try out the new ones, look tasty. Tbh each to their own! I've had all sorts, iPhones, BB, Windows, few Androids. Only the Androids I found a bit ugly and slow. Not sure if that's changed but I've moved on for now.

I need a new phone and was gonna get a contract but I don't really ever need to spend more than 10 quid a month, but you can't get any decent phones or contracts for that these days.

Problem is the actual handset comes free and would cost a bomb on PAYG.

    What shall I do bhoys?

I bought an Iphone from gumtree mate tbh I think your best taking the hit with buying a new or 2nd hand phone for a reasonableish price then get like a giffgaff sim tenner a month unlimited internet etc.

where as with a contract your stuck in more than likely will be a 2 year contract aye you get a badboy phone to start of with but you will be paying 30 odd quid a month x 24 = 720 and you are stuck with the phone for 2 years, 2years is a long time and with how often phone companys churn out new models and new technology progresses a 2 year old phone might as will be 5 years

GiffGaff (which is O2) - £10 a month for 250 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited internet along with a Huawei G300 for £100.
    This simply cannot be bettered.

You can use them for iPhone or in any phone. It is actually a very good deal you get for your tenner a month. 250 mins, unlimited texts and internet. They do monitor the internet usage though so if they find out you have been using it for tethering (which is against their terms and conditions) then you'll be cut off. If you are just using it as intended though there is no cap on data I don't believe.

I've had my 3gS for a couple of years now, I'm well out of my contract so I think what I'm going to do is buy the iPhone 5 outright (assuming it looks good) and get one of these Giff Gaff SIMs (I'm on Vodafone sim free at the minute which is more expensive) which should work out best value.

I don't want to tie myself in for 24 months either, far too long for a phone contract.
