    A hun originally comes from a European tribe in about the 5th or 6th century. Im sure you heard of one of their leaders, Atilla the Hun.


    It was also used in WW1 by the allies(US, GB, France) propaganda against the Germans.

    i have always thought a 'hun' was a german tribe. the irish called the british 'settlers/invaders', 'huns' because they did what the german tribe did. invade and settle there.

    Hun=Rangers fan
    Tim=Celtic fan

    No offence should be caused really, but there are several meanings behind the 'hun' term.

    Wikipedia will cover the original huns....

    a "hun" is latin for jobby which is english for rangers fan :)

    the idea that all proddys r huns is a lot of baws! all my mates are motherwell fans and some are dons and they HATE huns with a passion!
