We have learnt that we have declined backwards about 20 odd year, the campaign was horrific, especially the 2 games against molde, the structure/buissness model we have set about buying small and selling big has completely * hamperd us, can't keep selling our best players and perform miracles at European level.

With signings like cifti, armstrong etc while the last few years we have seen the likes of hooper, ledley, wanyama and a host of other cracking players leave, yet we replaced them with utter pish like puki balde and scepovic.............. lawell buissness model has * up he sold half of lennon,s team no wonder he left, Sammy wasn't a massive goal scorer but cifti couldn't lace his boots yet we let Sammy go for * all and squander the best part of 3 million to bring in cifti, no wonder were horrendous with some of the decision making from that boardroom !

We can score goals, generally 2 per game, but we also concede as many as we score if not slightly more. This is as likely a Celtic team i have seen in years that can score in Europe regularly but its also the most likely Celtic team to concede * * goals.

I haven't posted in days and I dont get the argument thats going on here. They were seventh in the Norwegian league when the beat us twice. They moved up one place with a final league position of sixth. Finishing sixth out of sixteen is a mid-table finish. Its not just saying they were a mid table Norwegian team they are a mid table Norwegian team.

A thought they looked pish against us in both games but we did deserve to lose them, we showed no fight and threw in the towel, naw fussed that they finished top, fenerbache and ajax are not world beaters either, we deserved to finish last and that's the level were at now am afraid, it's * but the decline has been happening for a while and it's down to the boardroom for there buissness model and descsion making, Scandinavian teams have proved there better than us currently? Everybody else inI europe are moving forward, us on the other hand are getting worse.

We aren't good enough for any European football. We wont be for years. A post Mowbray rebuilding job is needed.

I think we have a promising future, and remember Ronny is a coach that Builds up teams, mostly by focusing on young talent, the Board knows this, but at the same time they need to give him enough to still compete in the present and he hasn't gotten that, We have brought in Players to replace the ones we sold and they are either not as good or still too young to reach that level

I keep coming back to this and essentially just hoping it works out for the best.

I think investing in young Scottish players is a decent plan, and I'm hoping that in years to come we can have a reasonable Scottish core, but we need to continue to supplement it with the young players we've been getting from abroad.

We need some experience badly as well, though.

1 or 2 experienced campaigners. Not necessarily standout players, maybe a no nonsense CB and a nutcase of a defensive mid. Would be good to have in amongst the squad, together with the experienced Brown, Gordon, Lustig etc.

Saying Mølde were comfortable winners of Group A in the the Europa League beating Celtic twice is more relevant to us than you trying to belittle us and them because of what they do in Norway no?

and just a FYI because you are ignorant ,Mølde have won the League 3 times in the last 5 years so hardly a mid table Norwegian team like you are making out they are.

This year, when we played them, were they a mid table Norwegian team?

Aye, they were. You still haven't answered my question.

He said it because it is true, the level of opposition in the Europa was extremely poor and we were the worst.

If you apply Og1 logic to this then its fair to say the second best team in Scotland were beaten by the 6th best team in Norway 3-1 after the first game. is that correct ?

Wasnt that bad a Group I dont think, the other 3 teams in our Group would probably have progressed out of most if not all the other groups. They were decent teams, far better than anything we face domestically.

Remember the * you keep telling Roys Keane about not looking at context and facts dont always show the whole picture, the same applies here.

Imo a few on here are only to happy to claim those in the group are really poor teams as it also brings down RD and his team due to us not beating them.
We under rate who we play in Europe far to often and even after a spanking refuse to give them their due.

The context for me is they are a rather poor team, that was succesfull as they were the only in the group who played as a team.

They also embarassed us due to our own arrogance.

I think the league position they are in, over the course of a full season, backs up that argument.
