    Positives:

-Commons and Forrest have stepped up this year in Europe.
-Tierney has made his name because of his European displays.
    -We can score goals

    Negatives:
-The number of goals we conceded was a brass neck
-We need a better striker to do something in Europe. Look at Milik and Fernandao.
-We still lack experience, big time.
-We are nowhere near good enough to take points from top teams.

Good points Boyd although I'd say in the first half against Fener we played football that could have troubled a lot of top clubs. I don't mean Barca or Bayern etc, but 3rd 4th place in the big leagues.

Hopefully Cole will provide a quality strike option for the summer.

Experience is huge, Og1 mentioned it a few times and I have to agree, we should try and buy a couple of older players who know when to calm * down.

I realise that it's probably pointless discussing it with you, but Kris Commons is absolutely good enough to play at BPL level. How do I know this? He has played and been reasonably successful in doing so, at a much higher level in the champions league.

I don't think any of us expect to be outperforming EPL teams or winning trophies in Europe given our budget.

It's more the fact that many of the * Scandinavian teams have budgets 10x smaller than ours and play us off the park. (spending more on derk than malmo spent on their entire squad!).

Strongly disagree. They showed the importance of playing smart and to your strengths. There is a massive difference. The lesson we should learn from Europe this season is the lesson taught to us by that mid table Norwegian team. Our own third rate Norwegian binned the videos though so that wont be happening.

So there * even though that team topped our group? A group consisting of ajax fernabachie and us? That's not just luck. So you think they are as * as we all thought? Of course they are not.

Mølde were Norwegian Champions when we played them.

They are also hitting the form of their lives in the EL and are actually a very good team.

Ironical Ronny hammer this team 5-2 in one of his last games as Strømsgodset Manager

Your ignorance is outstanding at times.

They were also mid table in league when we did.

They topped the group because they were the only team that played as an actual team. Ajax are extremely disjointed between defence and attack, Fenerbache are full of individuals, Celtic well, we're a mix of both.

My point was its always easy for him to pick out the little bits of negativity to suit whatever hes saying while ignoring the fact that they were actually Norwegian Champions and a decent team.

They were Champions the year before, when we played them they weren't good enough to compete at the top end of the Norwegian league. They weren't a good team, they had a few good attributes that they used well enough, mainly counter attacking football but we were extremely arrogant against them and that's why we got beat. They defended as a team and went forward as a team, that's why they done as well as they did. Their manager gets massive credit.

I think any truly decent team and we would have been ripped apart with the way we've defended this campaign.

Molde happened because Ronny hasn't learned his lesson from Malmo.

Tactically not good enough, teams targeted both wings on counter attack due to both our full backs being miles to far up the pitch. Why are we relying on full backs to cross a ball, surely that's what wingers are for? Lack of creativity in the team, pass after pass sideways or backwards. Scott Allan should be starting every game very impressive on the ball can split a defence. Ciftci hugely lacks any sort of confidence. Not a huge amount of pace in the team to play counter attacking football. Must do better.

We need more experience at the back and more leadership throughout the pitch was the main thing I learned.

Correct ,they were Champions the year before which makes them the current Champions at time of playing Celtic.

Also you dont end up finishing the top of you EL group by being a bad team,if anything the amount of games has caught up with them thats it.

Mølde are also probably Norway's second biggest football club as well so anybody saying they are just a mid table Norwegian football club hasnt got a scobby about Norwegian football.

But i do agree with you about Ronny Underestimating Molde.

Right now and when we played them, they're 6th in the Norwegian league. Things change fast in football, last seasons form doesn't mean that they'll be the same the following season. So yes, right now they aren't good enough to get any further than 6th in the Norwegian league because that's where they are sitting.

Don't know mate, I thought they were average as * defensively and we didn't manage to take advantage of that. Absolutely rapid on the counter attack. They were a well drilled team and everybody underestimated them. Fair play to their manager.

I thought they had a Trojan defence to be honest. Not invulnerable, but * hard to crack. The 451 in defence, quickly flipping to 433 on the counter was excellent for them. A pot 4 team getting 3 wins and 2 draws is * excellent, and despite whatever agenda anybody pushes they deserve due credit for that... they played like a team that was a national champion, no matter where they actually stood.
