Yes mate, I remember going on the bus to the 88 cup final against United. A guy at the time Micky who was about 17 and had made one up at his tech/YTS. He was proud as * of it and it was very big. He got dogs abuse about it on the bus, as we do. Anyway my da and another guy stole it and * it overboard half way across the Irish Sea before we even got to Stranraer. Oh the good ol days.:celt_2:

I always wished the club would sell mini flags like that in the shop each time we win the league, something I have always wanted to collect, because I like to hoard needless things :giggle1:

I've seen the odd one every now and then but its never been a continous thing at least not to my knowledge.

Maybe they will do a normal sized flag with the years of 10 in a row on it when we reach it :fear:

    PS
Mind the flags that you used to get down the barras back in the late 90s * belters, never see any like that anymore.

I've got three big champions flags from the MON years, then they stopped doing them as good. Proper ones with the years and Premier Champions on them

Wee ones to collect would be great :50:

I've got about 10 flags. Got one with Big Bobo on it, says Bobos gonna get you. Keep thinking about sewing them all together for one big flag. But what would I do with it then?

You know, most of the time I just laugh at you, I find you mildly amusing.

Then you come away with that *.

Depending on how big they are you can get them all sewn together and made into a quilt. Could be quite cool.

I don't think they will see it as an insult, probably more a complement. To me it says Irish you are welcome but under the Union Jack welcome if you get my drift.

My view, as well. Never heard the term 'Irish Union Jack' and never hope to again.

My biggest problem with it is the shade of green and the shade of orange. They're not like the shade of green/orange on the actual tricolour.
