Hmmm, so we'll put it into a differant scenario. Cristiano Ronaldo of United. Say's he wants a move to Madrid but so far no offer. Do United have common sense and let go off one of their best players on a free as oposed to waiting to get even around £20million? Sorry mate, but if you think that deep down then you are a fool.

I believe the only option on this matter is wait till the right offer comes in. It's obvious Celtic aren't going to let him go for less than £5million. Petrov knows this as well, so he'll have to play his best when he plays to put himself in the shop window.

1.Very doubtful in my opinon, it could have been..but it did look to me that he didn`t give a * all through the game.

2 Who says we're paying him to do * all. I personally think Strachan will play him, he's a Celtic player, we're paying his wages so why the * shouldn't we play him. If he doesn't give 100%, teams will be put off by him. If he wants to score a move away he has to play, and has to play good.

I wouldn't let Petrov go for free as sooner or later a team will stump up the money that Celtic will settle for. If Portsmouth want to sign Petrov then they will have to stump up at least £5million, no less or that will be rejected.
