These players arent producing and/or are costing too much for their mediocrity. GS needs to buy replacements, scouts better have found some good ones.

i think for next season we need a bunch of supporters who don't panic when we lose one game after being in the last 16 of the CL to an extremely fortunate Huns side who have not got a pot to pee in and next year the "dream team" of uncle swally and aunt sally will be shown up for the false dawn it is.
With any luck Osasuna will start the first phase of that tonight

for next season we are going to need to sign a creative midfeilder that can play through balls, like a stan petrov type player. We are gonna need a quality striker that can put these chances away... once kenny miller * off of course. We will need a right back to cover for mark wilson and give him some competition. We will need a left back as cover for lee naylor if he gets injured. A classy winger wouldnt go a miss as well.... maybe damien duff.

Rhino Gatusso would fit perfectly into that catagory and he wants to move back to glasgow as his wifes family are there He would be a fantastic signing

 

Robbie Keane = I dont need to tell you much about him class spurs striker you all know who he is. (6 million +)

Ryan Babel = Ajax stirker verry strong and quick i think hes only 18 he is the best player in the dutch under 19 team he will be a fantastic player in a few years. he's worth a look before bigger clubs in europe * sniffing around him.

Anouar Diba = Best right winger in holland plays for NAC breda same club we got van hooijdonk from 21 years old former PSV youth player. if we buy a right winger we can play Nakamura more central. (2 or 3 million)

Steve Sidwell = Hard working midfeilder i hear a deal is already done would be a good replacement for Lennon. he has fantastic energy and he likes a tackle would thrive on old firm games (4 million).

Luka Modric = Youn croat midfelder has already go a few caps for croatia i saw this kid play in a 3~2 freindly win over argentina and he was not out his debth plays for dinamo zagreb would cost us around (1 or 2 million)

Valon Behrami = Swiss David Beckham plays for lazio in italy but not been at his best maybe italian football doesnt suit him. this boy can play center midfeild right mid or wing back has a awsome shot and i think he was in the world cup squad in germany (2 or 3 million)

Looking at the teams who have went through to the Quarters in CL, we need a goal scoring Midfielder not unlike Kaka, Mendez, Van Bommel, Silva, Ballack or Giggs who all scored for their clubs to get through to the last 8 from Midfield.

We really need a goal threat from midfield & not just Naka at setpieces (which we need to keep in the team). I don't really know if Tommy G is the answer in this regard, or Paul Hartley for that matter, but it seems clear to me that to progress in CL it is essential to have a goal threat from midfield - well all over the park really, but a lot of goals come from the midfield in big games = Gerrard, Scholes & Lampard are the type of player I'd love to see at CP - Ball winners, good playmakers with grit & an eye for a goal (especially in important games).

Where we get a player like that within our budget is not my problem...
