Surely his legacy is scoring a Cup Final goal against them? The whole 'smashed a hun' thing just made him a bit of a cult hero.

He could do a job on a short-term basis, I'm sure.

One of those * poor players who was a cult despite that. He played well in the cup final but he was a rotten CH that is for sure. No pace, no sense of positioning etc.

I'm wondering, has anyone seen him play recently?

His positioning was good for me actually, his attitude made up for a lot of his decencies, would go in for everything. I liked him more than his ability at the time deserved due to one moment though, think it was in Mowbray's season when our team weren't one to stick up for each other or battle it out...

McGeady got halfed a belter off of one of the Hun players. Everybody turns around and walks away, O'Dea ran half the pitch and grabbed a hold of the * and made sure nobody was around McGeady. Wee things like that are very important in a team for me.

He also had his good performances for us, like I've already said though, compare his performance in the Cup Final against Rangers against Kelvin Wilsons Cup Final against Kilmarnock or his last 16 performance against AC Milan against Ambrose's last 16 performance against Juventus.

He had his moments, he's never a first team player but he could be a reliable back up.

Would be decent for back up , we have Van Dijk,Denayer, Ambrose wouldn't mind another centre half in for backup.

He wasn't like Majstorovic like, but he wouldn't really be the one you'd want to see racing back with a forward going free. :smiley-laughing002:

O' Dea was young and a bit foolish when he originally signed for Celtic . Now he is a married man with a child and hopefully is a bit more mature . I think Ronnie will take a look at him whilst training and should be in a good position to decide rather Celtic should give him a short term contract at the outset . Up to know he has had a good record of not having long term injuries and maybe that will help him to get his contract .

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Canna actually believe this is even happening to be honest. Mind you, up against Ambrose surely nothing comes as a * surprise.

I'd play him over Ambrose, a bit of competition at the back would be beneficial too

O'Dea better than Ambrose :smiley-laughing002: Have a word with yourselves man. Nostalgia and Ambrose's poor recent form put together are making people lose their minds.

Toronto did not want to release him. But they had to because of salary cap issues.

Would be worth siging to a short term contract maybe until the end of the season and seeing how he does I would think.

good player, but injury prone and ageing, one thing from my point of view that Ronny is stressing about when it comes to individuals is fitness, I can't see Ronny singing him
