Not for me. Probably better technically than some we have here. Don't see him fitting in. Probably not interested anyway!

I'd feel a lot more confident going into the cups with Maloney in the side.

He's 31 now. What can we offer him and not offer commons (also 31).

Got me thinking about a home grown team of players that have played for us and are still active:

    Gordon,
    Wilson, Caldwell, McManus, Mulgrew
    Brown, Henderson
    Forrest, Maloney, McGeady
    Watt

Some debatable, but still a good wee squad we've produced.

Would take Maloney back to finish his career, this is home afterall. May not be as fast, but he has more experience now and seems to get better with age. Good player for us, happy to see him return.

And? He grew up in Scotland his whole life, it'l hardly be a * culture shock coming back to Glasgow and playing for his boyhood club.

Do you know him personally? Or are you just pretending to be a scout again?

    Sign him up Ronny!

Always liked him as a player and his performance against Ireland shows he's still got plenty to offer - creativity, leadership, goals.

I'd love him back here. Even at 31, I'm sure we could get another 3 good years out of him. Same as Commons. We need some older players in the squad.

Maloney is known to be an excellent trainer and really keeps himself fit. Taking that into account you could argue Maloney will perform at a higher level for a few years longer.

Commons & Maloney to take our free-kicks, guaranteed @ least one set piece goal every game

If Maloney took 50 freekicks for us, he must have scored one or two, Really, really bad freekick taker.

Pretty sure Maloney holds the record for most freekicls in consecutive games in his POTY/YPOTY season. Went 4/5 games in a row scoring them.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Twice the player of the likes of McGregor and Forrest imo.

Forrest and Mcgregor should be looking at maloneys game as a template of the things they should be doing more of . Miles ahead of the pair of them .
